THANK YOU JEN YOU'RE THE BEST EVER!!! I'm extraordinarily touched & I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to view this until now. Absolutely fantastic!!! JetBlue is always stirring up trouble ain't they?

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your comments! It took me quite a while to piece all the ATC pieces together, it is like solving a puzzle. And everyone was safe which is what matters!!! :)

Awesome catch Jen! It is really surreal to see the landing gear doors hanging open during a landing. Glad the doors had just enough room to clear the runway.

Amazing once again Jen! Glad this JBU A320 landed safely for one, amazing catch of the go around as well. Great filming!

Thank you Jari! Well all these pilots, controllers, air crew, Logan Command are pretty amazing!!! Seeing or filming anything out of the ordinary actually makes me pretty nervous. But then I feel like I should document it, just in case anyone from the flight may be interested. :)

Awesome job capturing yet another jetBlue emergency. Thankfully, they have all been minor incidents

Oh you make me laugh Sterling!!! :) One of my emergency videos is never complete until I hear from you! Thank you so much and so happy to see more of your excellent work again!! :)

Thank you Ryan!! I know, catching a bit of the go around was just random as I was out to film the Delta departure for my friend. I will be happy though not to see any more of these for a while!! :)

Nice job Jen. Main doors doors look like they almost touch the runway. And yes JetBlue is seeming to have more than their share of troubles.
@amynorlee586811 жыл бұрын
To taylor wicks, if both landing gear control and interface units (LGCIU) failed, the gears can be extended mechanically. But the doors will stay down after the mechanically extension, until the handle resetted.

Great capture!! Good to know everything turned out to be ok!

When I was flying for JetBlue I had a similar situation. Going from SDQ to JFK we had rapid loss of all Green system hydraulic fluid. Diverted to SJU. Had to manually extend the landing gear and had no nosewheel steering. Newer models of the A320 have nosewheel steering without G hydrauuc system. Among the systems not available is some braking, that's why he asked for a longer runway when offered 4L. Main gear doors open is characteristic of this. Not a big deal, just lots of checklists to run.

Thank you so much, and I go spotting quite often! I live quite close to the airport so it is easy for me to run out for a few quick shots pretty often - as you can tell!!! ;)

Gear problems are a lot more common than people realize. At least the plane landed safely.

Oh thank you, my camera really does not do well in low light - this was its outer limits for even half-way decent footage!!! Seems there is always something exciting to see here, if it is not planes, it is the feathered birds, the beautiful great snowy egrets are back!!! :)

Hey Jen, another great video catch "fro all of us plan nuts". And for all of us plane nuts (or just nuts in general like me), I plan nuts for later this afternoon - Wasabi Almonds...hehehe! All in fun :) P.S. That fire truck was missing a few lights :-0

Great catch! How come its always JetBlue? :O
@jenf77711 жыл бұрын
Oh, I agree! I had just never heard that expression before, but you are so right, these incidents are not funny at all. I am a very nervous flyer and if I were on this plane I am certain I would have started to cry as soon as the plane went around! Ah oh, I am set to fly an airbus A320 this month, yikes!!! :)

What was the problem they were stuck down?
@signature199011 жыл бұрын
I am a total Boeing fan but these things happen to any jet and any carrier. Coincidence its Jet Blue. 320 are a nice jet and very reliable.

This happened with the same airline when I was at sxm, seems they have quite a reputation for this.

Wow - and I have to agreed with you. Maybe it is just coincidence, but it sure seems like 9 times out of 10, when there is an emergency inbound it is a Jet Bloooooooo!!! :)

Thank you so much and geeeeeez, my keyboard and proofing skills stink - thank you!!! hehe, "for all us plane nuts", fixed!!!! ;)
@TheCurtisLeMay11 жыл бұрын
LOL Jen, But it's really not funny. I am a commercial pilot, now flying Saab 340's in the USVI, and I have never had anything even close to something as serious as this. But on airBUST's stuff like this is practically commonplace.
