I freaking love this battle, it’s so great. They got the comical nature of both characters down PERFECT. The timing, the music, the animation flow, it all comes together to make such a great funny fight. As time goes on I appreciate this battle more and more. I also like how it deconstructs their usual fight formula by having them both start with their ultimate power ups (Dedede’s super hammer and Wario Man), but get stripped of their ultimates and forced to rely on the rest of their arsenal/abilities. I also appreciate the great narrative they worked in with this as well, being two masked fighters going into the ring for a show… only to realize once they lost the masks, that they already knew each other and hated them. XD I love the sarcasm you’ve been pulling out this whole time in regards to Green Lantern vs Ben 10. The single biggest controversial episode in DB history, bar none. The sheer level of vitriol and disgust it gets from fans is truly impressive, and I honestly have no idea if it’s because fans of [loser] are just that crazed or if it’s legitimately that terrible. One of these characters I know very very little about so I can’t really say. Oh well. Onward to the next episode!

A "joke battle" is like Deadpool vs Pinkie Pie, or Segata vs Chuck Norris. It's a battle where there's no real winner cause both characters are just too ridiculous for one reason or another. Battles like this one and mr satan's are SERIOUS battles that use joke CHARACTERS. None of these characters are taken very seriously, but they do have abilities and power that can be accounted for and pit against one another.

That's because they were completely bias making a composite mega greenlatern and not doing anywhere near the same composition for ben since they gave another persons feat and said green lantern could do it since he's stronger that's not how specialties and imagination works since you would have to imagine the same construct to do the same feat which just isn't his it works since there will always be that one detail you don't imagine in the same way. For the Ben 10 vs. Green Lantern.... though I can agree with the final verdict, the fight itself and even some of the reasons they state forget some of the stuff that they themselves say earlier in the video, which is a shame.

In this they killed my favorite Mario character and that makes me feel upset, not "this is wrong Wario should have won" upset, just feeling like crying in the corner upset. As for next time, loads of people disagree with it, like holy shit people really disagree with it, but honestly I very much agree with Death Battle with this one. Me, my friend Jayden, and my brother who heavily prefers the one who lost all agreed from day one, that (name redacted for spoiler reasons) was gonna win pretty easily. And all 3 of us were equally shocked at just how many people were willing to argue with us about it, for those 3 weeks between Wario vs King Dedede and Ben 10 vs Green Lantern, I got a decent chunk of harassment from people who were hell-bent on saying the one who lost was gonna win, now while it was a little rude of me to rub it in their faces when Death Battle ultimately agreed with me when it came to the outcome, but after 3 weeks of constant harassment I felt like I deserved to have this moment. And while yeah they did low-ball the loser, they also low-balled the winner, and the winner's low-ball was way more vicious than the low-ball the loser got. And while many to this day still try to debunk it, including a very certain someone, while I like that guy he definitely didn't do a good job debunking it. And I know for a fact that people are not gonna be happy with the fact that I just said all this, but whatever. I shall forever stand by the fact that Death Battle didn't get the outcome wrong in Ben 10 vs Green Lantern.

Okay it's pretty annoying how everybody's saying "oh the next death battle has the wrong winner and is terrible" or "I refuse to watch it because of some video saying the results were wrong", I don't mean to start anything but first off let the guy watch the episode for himself and let him decide his own thoughts on it, second off you guys keep acting like their results *are* facts when in reality the whole death battle thing is a KZbin series that's ultimately made for fun and to see how match ups between two different characters would go. You can have opinions on who you thought should've won but at the end of the day the results are still results and to try and disprove it when they've been doing the math equations as well as other things that most people wouldn't even be able to understand is a bit disrespectful to the team who does all this work. I've got death battles I disagree with but I don't try disproving it, with that being said, this was a great video and I can't wait to see the next reaction

4:46 That stage (map) is Training Mode! You can't actually play on it outside of Training Mode, and it's designed for figuring out the game and practicing in an isolated environment. The distance markings on the walls are to help better visualize how much knockback a given attack has, how far something goes, and so on and so forth. I don't play much Smash anymore as I'm too busy, but I can't tell you how many hours I've spent sitting around in Training mode practicing various techniques and optimizing movement.

Hey Duck, I wanted to give u some reacting suggestions. There’s a channel called “Smash Bracket” that take every character that’s in Smash Bros and puts them up against each other in canonical fight animations. Imo, they do it much better than Death Battle and the rules and sources they use are a lot more clear cut. A few fights they’ve done were Banjo-Kazooie vs Yoshi, Wario vs Lucas, Greninja vs Diddy Kong, Pikachu vs Pac-Man, Kirby vs Jigglypuff, Sonic vs Fox and a bunch more.

@@vick7868 wouldn't work, the Omnitrix has a fail safe to stop him dying. Dude can literally get hit in the face by an exploding universe and not flinch. As Alien X he literally didn't notice the universe was destroyed, then he just rebuilt the entire universe from MEMORY. Green Lantern is pretty awesome, but he isn't THAT powerful. Not only does his ring run out of power, but it can just be removed. The Omnitrix can't be slipped off. Especially as Alien X. He could blink, and he'd be gone. Yeah the LANTERN CORP survived the crisis, but that is COLLECTIVELY. Hal didn't do that. Mr Mxyzptlk is a common "foe" of Superman and really nobody can stop him cause he can freely warp reality on a cosmic scale. The Joker obtained that power once and conquered everything. Green Lantern, could not stop him. He couldn't even touch him. Only Batman could stop him, cause the Joker is aware he's a comic character and Batman is supposed to beat him. Alien X is AT LEAST as powerful as Mxyzptlk, and probably even more so. Nah, Hal can't win. Ben can fight literally forever, and Hal runs out of literal batteries pretty quickly.

Death Battle didn't say it directly, but they mentioned in the black boxes that this is potentially the biggest stomp they had. They put King Dedede at multi universal because he was able to fight against Void, even he isn't strong enough to beat Void. But they put Wario on his highest posible power at universal via scaling to Rosalina. And they even said that Wario might not even scale to it in the first place. Also King Dedede does scale to Kirby in physical strength and reaction speed, but he is nowhere as fast or strong as Kirby. Meta Knight actually equal to Kirby in speed but he is still nothing compared to Kirby in power, but Meta Knight is stronger then King Dedede.

Important notes on Dedede because I am a Kirby lore monster Dedede in the 101 episode Anime was a bad guy. Rude, gluttonous, disrespectful, illiterate, lazy, all of that. Dedede in the games is a doofus, sure, but he genuinely cares about the WaddleDee underlings whom he acts as a fatherly figure or big brother figure for and cares about Kirby. Throughout the series, he has only genuinely been bad once. Back in Kirby 1 he stole all the food in Dreamland but after that? Kirby shows up to beat him up because of a misunderstanding involving a scheme he’s not involved in at all. But most of the time he ends up getting possessed by a greater force and used to do evil while being unaware of helpless. He is considered the strongest warrior in Dreamland which unfortunately doesn’t mean Planet Popstar since MetaKnight exists. Dedede has on multiple occasions shown he’s less of a villain and more of an antihero or misunderstood ruler, oftentimes going out of his way to help Kirby save the world in order to protect the WaddleDees. It’s never explicitly stated whether or not he can wield the Star Rod or grow giant in the main canon. The Star Hammer was in one side game thing while giant Dedede seems more like an artistic choice/trope rather than an actual ability he’s meant to have. He does however have the Electro Hammer normally. Either way, good fight, loved this one. And then there’s Ben 10 vs Green Lantern.

Why not try to react to the Super Smash Bros. Brawl - All Story Cutscenes, Full Movie. it's like around 40ish minutes, but basically it's all the story animations and cutscenes of Smash Bros. Brawl, the entire story was a big favorite for a lot of people, being a large scale thing told with little to no words ever actually said.

I don't know how canon it still is, but Wario is supposed to be Mario's cousin and Waluigi is supposed to be another cousin which is why they all are voiced by Charles Martinet since 1993, oh and Luigi too. Again, remaking, a galaxy is basically creating an explosion that is equivalent to a big bang. And it wasn’t directly stated, but it was seen that Mario took that explosion without a scratch. Plus it required all of those Lumas to create the galaxy sized big bang not just Rosalina‘s power. It was even stated in another source that it was literally equivalent to a big bang, albeit a galaxy sized one.

Here’s what I’ll say about the next episode (SPOILERS): For the longest time I did feel like Ben should’ve won, especially since the way it’s done in the fight makes it seem like Hal had to commit to a desperate situation. It wasn’t till this year that I’d seen the Ink Tank videos, the DeviantArt page, DEATH BATTLE’S Q&A video and several others comment sections and threads that talk about the match up. I never liked that a lot of other Ben 10 fans downplay Hal and it genuinely upsets me that people think Hal is building to maybe planet level at most. Hal hasn’t gotten that great of representation to mainstream audiences and that’s pretty bad on DC’s half. I’m not a versus debater and I don’t try to be but it does seem like Hal had a lot more going for him than I originally realized and in ways a lot of people seemingly choose to ignore. A part of me does feel like Ben would still be able to win a good amount of times. But it also doesn’t help that the episode itself did a really shitty job explaining the results. Like it is easily the worst post-fight analysis of the season and one of the worst post-fight analysis of the entire show. The most important bits of information: Hal’s speed, Hal being capable of harming higher dimensional beings, Hal and the ring’s defenses/ reaction speeds and more are all left within the black boxes in the corner. They miscontexualize a lot of feats and don’t distinguish between facts and jokes for certain parts and say a lot of things that just aren’t true. I still enjoy the episode overall because of the animation and voice acting, though they do a lot of things wrong with X, like the “shadow clones” moment and how underutilized he was since they have him fight like a brawler for most of his appearance. But my biggest problem with the episode is moreso the wasted potential since Ben only uses 4 aliens in the fight (6 show up in total and X has more screen time than all of them combined). Everything up until X shows up is genuinely great. Even the moment where, even though I thought it was done pretty slowly, Hal willing himself back into existence was pretty hype. I can’t find it in me to be as outraged as some people are to this day but I definitely felt where a lot of what a lot Ben 10 fans are before. Buuuuut sending death threats to Ben, Chad, and Liam along with harassing them on Twitter to this day is much too far. Either ways, I still think it’s a solid episode overall. My biggest gripe with it could be fixed if they gave it more of a budget to give it more time and let Ben use more aliens and Hal counter their attacks in creative ways. Also the Battle track, Emerald Heroes, is a fucking banger.

And that some of Hal’s multiversal feats did require a bit of help. Though it’s still nowhere near as bad as people giving X hypothetical abilities and saying he’s Omniversal and 26th dimensional.

​@@christianpeterson1832 Spoilers: I figured that was more of an example of his will and confidence. which is pretty important given, you know. and the help actually... wasn't. not only has he done more on his own, but with the central battery thing? that was a while ago, and he's much stronger now. Not only can he acess the main battery at any time (he always has been able to, he doesn't need guardian permission. it's a stupid design flaw that plenty of villains have exploited, including hal), but he's been directly stated to be EQUAL too or greater than the main battery in power now. it helps that he's effectively the will entity now.... and we found out a bit more about what that entails. and with mandraak, he didn't need help so much as he needed a RECHARGE. killing krona is actually even MORE absurd. i agree though, x is... pretty overhyped. and ben 10 dimensions don't work that way.

Wario I like a million times more as a character. And that’s mainly from taunts and mannerisms even if it’s gross. It’s so silly and I love him. King Dedede I love using in smash more. He’s such a wild card fighter and that always makes the fight interesting. Also Wario is undoubtedly the best taunter in smash. And he’s always one of the best in every game he’s in. Only ever beaten by Waluigi. Who is my favorite Mario character. Wario’s are hilarious. Waluigi’s are MAJESTIC. And I’ve been hoping for him to make it to smash since Brawl. Hoping Smash 6 will be the one when that comes out in like…about a decade.

Waluigi takes it to the next level with I kid you not, ballerina dances, crotch chops, knocking over cameramen, flaunting a rose he likes to keep in his mouth, and just the damn best poses you have ever seen no matter how silly and over the top they get. Plus his moveset is where Nintendo always uses their weirdest ideas in sports games. So all his special moves are RIDICULOUS and are just SO fun/funny to use and see every time. Wario has his own moments but he truly is a shadow of Waluigi regardless of representation.

​@@crcoghill that's the thing, he didn't research green lantern at all and made a lot of rather absurd mistakes. also, a lot of his ben 10 claims are... sketchy. like his claim that the sotobro effact lets you sense anyone travelling in time. despite it being brought up as a reason they should use HUMAN time travel instead. and alien x being caught off-guard by a time traveller etc. and his claim ben can't be mind controlled or killed is rather awkward considering how ben's been mind controlled and killed onscreen. also, green lantern is RIDICULOUS. and if your comparing strengths, you really, REALLY need to actually check if any of the methods you list would work against him.

@@crcoghill spoilers: no it isn;t, alien x is stupidly overhyped and many fan canon claims go directly against the word of god statements. i'm sorry, but arbitarily declaring him more powerfull than everyone in dc based on nothing isn't good logic. also, you misunderstood me. the sotobro effect is specifically said to let you sense chonospaiens, and given as a reason that ANY OTHER TIME TRAVELLER is more stealthy than a chronosapien. also, paradox has outright admitted that he finds out about the changes in time in, well, real time. he doesn't sense them, he just has an unlimited amount of time to find out and come investigate (which word of god has admitted is what happened). Remember, it took him centuries to find out abaout hugo, let alone erealise who he was. AND we've seen maltruant has to scan through time manually to actually search for things. plus, again, we've seen him be taken by surpirise by time travellers and even outright admitted he can't track some people. it's not an all-purpose spidersense, and the explanation onscreen doesn't imply it in the LEAST. Also... no. the life mesh alone can withstand a supernova while the green lantern is asleep. and he's perfectly cpaable of maintaing a sheild while he charges... and it only takes 2 seconds of charge to be able to match captain atom, not the whole thing. or he can overcharge, if he wants.

That death battle is the most disliked for a pretty good reason. It is OBJECTIVELY wrong, they just totally screwed the pooch on that one and got, too much wrong. They got something wrong about the Omnitrix that I've NEVER even heard anywhere before. Then they just kinda, IGNORE all of Alien X's abilities. Their justifications just, don't work either. I love Death Battle, and generally they're pretty good about research, even if they mess up sometimes. This one though? It's just 100% incorrect.

They mention a ton of Ben’s aliens, but only 6 appear in the animation and only 4 contribute to the fight. They mention Alien X tanking universal destruction and recreating the universe like it’s a big deal, and then hand wave it in the conclusion. They also talk about how Hal has answers to all of Alien X’s most powerful abilities, but they don’t mention how the reverse is also true. In fact they say the reverse is also true, when it really isn’t. Even if Alien X isn’t powerful enough to deal with mind control or transmutation, like they say, he really doesn’t need to have fantastic defenses to deal with those since the Omnitrix’s failsafe will just switch him to an alien who could. And Alien X has been stated to be able to follow people who travel through time. Also most of Hal’s best feats that they brought up were either performed by other Green Lantern’s or the entire Corps. Just because he’s the most powerful one doesn’t mean he can replicate that level of power.

@@tannerlowrie8084 Spoilers: that's... exactly what it means. that is LITERALLY how green lantern rings work, they're all identically made and connected to a central network that shares information across all rings. and th green light itself is a transdimensional force that's properties are proportionate to willpower. as the strongest will, hal can do ANYTHING other lanterns can do, but better. and he usually has, listing the others is just a neat was to show of the lore. also, alien x has never been stated to have that power. in fact he's SHOWN he can't, professor paradox was able to forcibly revert him to ben by catching him by surprise and escaping before the nessicary two out of three personalities could react. and sadly, no. alien x doesn't have an answer to all hal's powers. aside from the above mentioned time thing, he's never shown an ability to counter getting your soul ripped out, blanking his mind to stall his powers, freezing him in time, or just destroying the omnitrix. While remaking a universe is impressive, hal's done it too, and a multiverse. and his day job is FIGHTING people who do that kinda thing. plus, the failsafe has limits, since ben's died onscreen and stayed that way until outside forces intervened. and he'd need an alien to actually be capable of surviving green lantern's powers, which is doubtfulll. also the omnitrix has shown difficulty reacting to time travel, mana and technology from some dimensions

@@danielwilson8604 So even if I gave it to you that Hal is the strongest Green Lantern, that doesn’t explain why them using feats that required the entire Corps to pull off makes any sense. I don’t know which power you’re referring to here, cause there’s a lot I brought up, but bringing up downsides which resulted from the disagreement of the personalities (a flaw current Ben 10 doesn’t have with Alien X) aren’t applicable here. Just because he’s never shown that ability doesn’t mean he doesn’t have access to it. If all it took was a reality warper to beat a Celestialsapien, then they wouldn’t be looked upon so highly in universe. Also we don’t even know if the Omnitrix can be destroyed, considering it’s been at the center of everything Ben’s taken (including that universal destruction) and come out unscathed. Hal remaking a universe is all well and good, but he never did that or destroyed one with even remotely near the ease that Ben did. Well the only times Ben’s died have been by choice. The failsafe has never been shown actively failing or being overwhelmed. Also that’s not even to discuss all the different paths Ben has to defeat Hal with or without Alien X. Cloning himself infinitely with Ditto, Echo Echo and Alien X, using Upgrade to hack the Green Lantern Ring, using Feedback and Chromastone to help with energy redirection, using Jetray, whose top speed is unknown. I could go much more in depth, but I don’t have the time right now. I’d recommend looking into how powerful Ben really is.

​@@tannerlowrie8084Spoilers. they didn't. hal is outright said to be as powerfull as the central battery itself and has matched the entire corps at once. he even matched the source of the corps collective power. given recent developments, he effectively IS the new will entity. and you are technically correct, hal actually made a multiverse with much GREATER ease than ben, then moved on to individual universes. and regularly fights people with that power, like captain atom. who can destroy and remake the universe so easily he doesn't even realise he's doing it. the fact that ben COULDN'T get his universe right was a plot point. and no, that WASN'T due to disagreement. it was reaction speed. ironically, both sernea and bellicus agreed right away to murder paradox, but he still outsped and detranformed them. Ironically, the creators and even people in-series have stressed that it DOESN'T take a reality warper to beat celestialsapiens. per official statement, many of ben's regular aliens could have beaten galactic gladiator. I HAVE looked into how powerful ben really is. i'm planning on reanimating this fight to explain things better and ben doesn't live up to his hype. i looked into every one of those alternate paths, and none of them work. hal has a counter for EVERYTHING ben has, and everything that's ever beaten ben. ben died onscreen trying to stop a mana engine and was killed by the dozen by kevin. he's been forcibly detranformed, frozen in time, hacked, and plenty more. Not to mention his own future self has confirmed changing the past WILL kill him.

Ben 10 vs Green lantern is just, incorrect. Objectively, no room for debate type stuff. They COMPLETELY messed that one up and everyone that's not a total fanboy of the "winner" knows it. They got something wrong that I'd literally never heard anyone else say anywhere else. I just don't know what happened in that battle for them to get the information so wrong to be honest. I suggest you watch Ink Tank's video addressing the problems of that battle, it's really well made and explains why the outcome isn't correct. Ink Tank makes really good videos in general actually. Normally the outcome of a Death Battle is either clearly correct, understandable and reasonably likely, or really complicated and debatable no matter which way you slice it. This isn't any of those, it's JUST wrong and I'm not sure what went wrong behind the scenes. Both characters have VERY complicated powers and a LOT of history, Green lantern more so than Ben 10 obviously, but Ben 10 has a LOT, so I think the research team just got, confused by them both? I don't know, it was just a mess.
