Amazing tank and great information. I'm currently trying to get my nitrates in phosphates in range on my SPS tank. Even with good feedings I have to dose nitrates. What do you keep your nitrates and phosphates at?

I’m very curious how older reefers had such success maintaining 0 nitrates and phosphates without coral dying?

They only tested 0 bc the available test kits sucked. 0 nutrients is a new thing with all the advances in filtration. 0 nitrates back then was 15ppm today.

Have you considered dosing ammonium chloride/ bicarbonate instead of nitrate? It's supposed to be more beneficial to coral and the end result of it is nitrate.

What are you mounting your corals with on the glass? Is it a mganet rack or just glued straight to it? Sadly i cant glue mine because the exgernal overflow makes my whole back wall acrylic. Its also ¾inch so its hard to find racks. I. Ready to just make one myself. I just need to find the righr magnets.
