I was a bit disatisfied with Oculus in this shell last time, because sometimes you can get some clunky hand with Oculus, Reanimate, Sorin sitting in your hand. On the other hand, Kiora is just good anytime for the deck. I did sideboard out kiora alot since I'm also boarding out some reanimates, but game 1 it seemed pretty good and maybe I'm not supposed to board kiora out at all 🤔

Kiora is exactly the kind of creature design I love. Provides good utility, pressures the opponent, but doesn't end the game when it comes into play. Might be my fav card from foundations.

Why not side in Ghost Vacuum against phoenix? A land or two like Boggart Trawler work nice with Overlord.

Tamiyo is better than Kiora in this list. I would fit a Lorean Revealed in also.

Man, sorry, but i fell like we lose a lot to Boros/energy on this channel. As a viewer I think we have to change the strategy. What do you think? Thanks for the content, but i am trying to help with constructive criticism. I stopped playing timeless because of Boros. I would like to see strategies that beat this deck to return to the format.

I am 10-6 this season against them and 24-10 last season. Unless you are playing Combo, you won't have insane win rate vs. them. In Modern, energy occupies 40% of the meta, it's no different in this format as well. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose 😅
