I used to go pick up large quantities of meat to feed dogs. and the meat place also farmed mink. It was REALLY gross. Like I saw the barn and the cages and they were so dirty I though it was an EX mink farm. id been goin there for a long time before I noticed movement in the cages one day while sitting there waiting. But there was a thick layer of dust and grime and like cob webs all over everything. It was really bad. Ive seen some incredibly poor conditions before and that as up there. PETA has a front group called "center for consumer freedom" that has been running campaigns against them for years. Millions of dollars spent on smear campaigns is a big part of why peta gets so much hate.
