It's a shame because they looked to have good speed for a potential podium. Fault is a difficult one, they ruled it corvettes fault, she did seem to be beside well enough, but she got there very quickly so maybe the Vette missed it. I do think that sort of aggression may have been too early in the race and is final stint type of driving as that happened early enough for plenty of strategy position changes to happen in the pits later. That said, this wasn't the only divebomb that was done, and prior ones were highly successful with no incidents.

@@derrickg6028 exactly that. Unnecessary risk at the early stages of the races and it totalled their weekend. They’ve been unlucky before but this was very avoidable

@@TheMechanic626 I agree but lmgt3 is intensely competitive so seeing them racing in 2nd was very encouraging. They are knocking on the door with a fast car so a win just might happen before long. That would be very exciting.

pas du tout, la corvette loupe son point de freinage, la lambo tarde son freinage, prend bien la corde, passe a l'interieur de la corvette, elle a donc l'avantage pour le prochain virage, cote a cote avant le virage gauche, la corvette tourne beaucoup trop tot, fermant la porte a la lambo, contact, course ruinée pour les 2. Preuve en est, la corvette a écopé de la pénalité !

Later in the broadcast they said the #81 Corvette had a penalty and the announcers thought that it was for this incident and that the stewards had the data that showed Andrade did something different and actually caused this accident. There's no way they were correct about that. You couldn't possibly penalize the Vette for getting divebombed. Right?

Another incredible quali and first stint by Sarah Bovy ruined, this time by her own teammate. She drove perfectly from the start, gave a car that was still in second place to Rahel Frey and it spiralled downwards from that moment, like so often.

On the inside, making the corner, corvette doesn't give space and collides and received a pen for it.

@@calussy8040 From 0:48 onwards you can clearly see that #85 is nowhere near #81 when they already going for corner on racing line. That was just stupid dive from tight line, with hope that vette will drive off to their right and Dames get through. And that assuming TF Sport antisipate such dive from 1,5 car lengths behind (0:49), which is yeah, nah.
