Indie brands really need to make sure to have a hero product that needs to be replenished frequently (mascara, eyeliner, lip liner). As someone who’s become a very basic makeup consumer, I don’t buy multiple bronzers and my last one lasted like 5 years.

I had never heard of them, but for some reason I was interested in who their founder was. Found out she launched a new company this January focused on pet grooming products. Honestly seems smart to get out the (human) beauty game before taking too much of a loss and switch to a more profitable industry. The pandemic saw a lot of people investing in pets. She knows what she’s doing 🤷🏿‍♀️

They probably didn't realize how much recall insurance they needed. Products shouldn't expire as quickly as some of these clean brands. I saw a whole brand out of stock bc everything expired.

They launched with only one product, they were never going to survive tbh. The bronzers did look really good, but it's hard to get people to take a chance on a new brand when the product is only available online.

I'm actually sad they are closing. While I haven't tried any of their products yet, they were definitely a brand I was interested in because I do like that no makeup, simple, effortless look. Maybe if they increase that discount I will buy some products.

I have heard of them specifically for the bronzers and highlighters. I was introduced to them by og Jackie Aina. I thought also for a 1st launch 3 years ago that they came out the gate with a great range of bronzers for different skin tones! Its sad they didn't make it but I never got the chance to actually use their products.
