I’m feeling the same! I think it’s throwing me off because I automatically thought of fall and winter the minute I smelled so at the moment I’m not crazy about it because I’m not in the mood for that type of scent right now. So I’m going to let mine sit too and once that weather rolls around I’ll be able to tell if it’s a keeper or not 🥰☺️ the process of a getting to know a fragrance can be super long and complicated sometimes 😂😂 🤦🏻‍♀️

Omg I’m usually super sensitive to patchouli and I’m so shocked that I’m not getting a sharp strong patchouli. 😳😳 but I haven’t smelled it in a couple of days so now I’m scared the minute I smell it I get the patchouli 😫😫😫😂😂

I have a lot of these on my radar! A mango one I just tried is Carnivale by brown girl jane. Started looking into Snif and decided to go with the Soda Snob perfume from what I guess might be a sister company.

Qissa delicious is really delicious! The chocolate orange combination is so yummy. I love this one. My only issue is it's very soft and doesn't last long. I'm letting it sit as well

I agree! It definitely needs some time to hopefully thicken up a bit and smell stronger. Hopefully by fall time they should be ready to go and they will be beautiful this fall 😍😍🍂🍁

Mango Skin looks so beautiful❤ The Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar looks beautifully packaged too! But you know that’s all I liked about it❤ The Arabic perfume sounds good!❤ In Coco Shimmy the sunscreen note sounds like it should be left out because the rest sounds sooo delicious❤ sad that the last scent opens strong. I had that issue with Dolce & Gabbana Devotion where I hated the opening but the dry down is very, very nice!

I agree! I think the Coco Shimmy could’ve been a complete favorite for me without the sunscreen note. I actually don’t mind a slight sunscreen scent but lately it’s been getting done so much 😩 and yes, I can’t get past the opening of Heal the way 😓😓

My 10 ml size of “heal the way” should be on it’s way to me soon. Since it’s back in stock now. I only have 1 full bottle and that is of crumb couture, the other ones are in the 10 ml sizes. I don’t have Coco shimmy, I may try it though.

@@AmyGlam gourmandy. I don’t wear it often so I just sprayed it on because I didn’t wear anything today so I’m trying to refresh my memory and when I first sprayed it on I smelled the croissant note and as it dries down there’s a Berry note & I think I smell the tonka.

I only tried coco shimmy at Ulta on my skin and I wasn't a fan. I thought it was the pineapple I didn't love but I'm not sure.

If you don't mind patchouli as a note is great. If you have the slightest hesitation about patchouli, I highly recommend to go sniff it at Sephora first.

I feel like Kayali should’ve sued for false advertising lol. Their sweet gourmand scents are never what they hype it up to be. Both the new release and pistachio gelato are nothing like the promo is terms of cotton candy sweetness. They know that’s what people want just give us a true sweet fragrance without all the extra notes that make the fragrance a let down

I have felt similar with past launches as well! I think it shows how we are all different and interpret smells and imagery in different ways. I will admit that I was expecting a sweeeeet tooth fairy type scent with this one but that’s just what my mind went to when I saw the marketing for this scent. 😳😝 when I smell it I can tell it’s a beautiful fragrance for sure but to me I would relate the smell to burgundy, orange, brown it almost makes me think of Wine, falls leaves, fall desserts with a hint of a feminine touch to it. 😝 The total opposite 😳😂

Qissa Delicious is a clone for Devotion by Dolce & Gabbana. So, there is no orange, only lemon and vanilla, like in the original. Basically it is a lemon pound cake. No chocolate, marshmallow or caramel.

I was waiting for your review of Heal the Way. I thought the same, how could it go wrong w these notes?? WRONG! That opening is baaaad. Like strong zesty minty herbal smell. I hate the opening. But the dry down really is soooo nice. It’s hard to get past that opening :/

Omg I feel the same way 😩😩😩 I don’t think I can do the opening because it reminds me of Jo Malone Ginger biscuit and I had to sell that one because it just wasn’t a love. 😓 but I can tell it’s done so nicely I’m just not a fan of the opening but so many people love that scent profile. Definitely one that I think is best during fall and winter for sure. ☺️
