I have what feels like a stupid question about your looking-through-her-hand sad-world-girl. If she's looking through her hand as if it her hand were a telescope into a happier world, why is her other eye open? btw, that was a fun moment when you were telling your friend (Kay?) about the character, and she responded with a sad-sounding "oh!" when you told her she lived in a sad world. Kay must have a lot of empathy.

that friend is kati although for some reason all my friends have stupidly similar names so its not ur fault for getting them mixed up. anyway, i honestly have no idea but that is a great point and i might have to close her other eye? i think i was thinking of the bagel thing from everything everywhere all at once and how jobu looked through her hand to see the bagel
