Booster Course Wave 4 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is here, and we’re checking out All Changes and differences made for the returning courses. The final race of the Boomerang Cup is Tour Singapore Speedway. Serving as a taste of the capital of Singapore, this track shows the attractions along Marina Bay, such as the infinity pool at the Marina Bay Sands, the bustling Food Street of Chinatown, the legendary Merlion statue of One Fullerton, and the otherworldly Supertrees of the Gardens by the Bay. I still think how they handled Tour tracks was a smart idea. Instead of making 3 different tracks to represent the different variants, they combined them all into a long Segment track.

The only thing I dislike about this course, is that the Chinatown section isn’t longer, the Chinatown version is awesome, and it makes me sad that the moment that version of the song is about to begin, you’re already outside that area x,d And holy, it’s also visually pretty lovely, reminds me of Bon Dance Street from the arcade games

It's a shame Switch versions doesn't have the 3rd lap as colorful as tour has. But the rest of the track is just perfect. This track is stunning, I LOVE It!

@GameXplain One change that I find as a tiny nitpick is that the glowing lights on the artificial trees at the "Gardens by the Bay" & the neon at the "Helix Bridge" from Singapore Speedway 2 no longer change colors (be in pulsating colors in the case of the Helix Bridge). It's not too big of an issue, but I wish that can be updated in a future update, as I liked how colorful it made the track.

correction: Singapore Speedway 2 was introduced in the Ocean Tour, which was in 2022. In this video, it is said that sinapore speedway 2 was introduced in 2023

@GameXplain Los Angeles Speedway & Vancouver Velocity now remain as the last City tracks in Mario Kart Tour yet to be added into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via the Booster Course Pass. But I look forward to more City tracks coming in the future; taking place in new locations, mainly continents yet to have Mario Kart representation such as... - Africa (Either in Cairo, Egypt; or a savanna-centric area like Zimbabwe feature landmarks like Mt. Kilimanjaro & Victoria Falls) - Mexico (Cancun, with Mayan Temples; fan of "Legends of the Hidden Temple) - Central America and Latin America And most of all... - Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, South America; hopefully taking at nighttime during Carnaval, with memorable locations such as the city itself, Copacabana Beach, Corcovado, and the city's famous monuments. Why Rio de Janeiro, you may ask? 2 reasons regarding other franchises (with one reason involving the Mario franchise itself). 1.) The Rio Franchise by Blue Sky Studios, including the defunct Angry Birds Rio with Rovio. And 2.) Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (enough said 😉).

Yep, just Los Angeles Laps and Vancouver Velocity to go in terms of known city tracks! And I agree about Cairo (which was represented in official Tour art), and Rio de Janeiro makes perfect sense and I support it. There are some rumblings that Madrid and Athens may come.

@@PeachToadstool While I am aware of the talks about the rumors regarding Mario Kart tracks in Madrid and Athens... We already have... - 4 Tracks in Europe (Paris, London, Berlin, and Amsterdam) - 3 tracks in North America (New York City, Los Angeles, and Vancouver) - 3 tracks in Asia (Tokyo, Singapore, and Bangkok) - And 1 track in Australia (Sydney) So I personally & strongly feel that whatever Mario Kart Tour tracks come next should take place in continents & other areas that have not be used before, hence why I want to see tracks in Africa, Mexico, and most of all - Rio de Janeiro in South America.

@@TheOmniverse1 Yep. This is true. We don't have any cities from South America or Africa, so Rio and Cairo make a lot of sense (aside from the Tour art that shows pyramids). Rio de Janeiro during Carnaval would be a good idea.

The second variant actually debuted in the Ocean Tour while the 3rd variant debuted in the 2023 Winter Tour. You confused it with Bangkok Rush

It was actually the accident of brushing over the detail too quickly and missing the Ocean Tour part, since the third variant indeed started in the 2023 Winter Tour. It's also possible the information was outdated and errored when researched at the time, but the first explanation is most likely. Sorry about that.

Singaporeans speak English, Singlish (used commonly in this video), Mandarin (sign off), Malay, and Tamil, mostly.
