For those who still don't know, the bridge shown in this video is a part of China's Haoji Railway running from Inner Mongolia to Jiangxi Province. This railway mainly runs freight trains which transport coal and other fossil products from Inner Mongolia to southern China. The particular bridge is the bridge across the Fen River in Shanxi Province. The bridge was built so tall so as to ensure a smooth ride for ultra-heavy freight trains which can have trouble climbing steeper slopes. The bridge was completed on June 4, 2018 and built by the 4th Bureau of China Railway Engineering Cooperation.

This technology is not new, but the scale of the project is immense. Well, who ever has the funds to build a bridge like that, would also have some use for it. Only in about 10 to 15 years they would have to fork out the same money or more to get this structure repaired again. High pollution mixed with raising damp or fog will cause some serious problems. I've been repairing Bridges a lot and the higher they are the more costly they are.

Jan Lolling > "Mont Hua railway" length 1800 km, costs 2000 Million RMB. From the inner Mongolia to Jiangxi. Above ground, no gradient for high speed rail at 300 to 400 kph. Cuts time to travel between cities to just hours, like 1/3 to 1/4. millions will use this to move between cities. China has construction army and mega machines to build this 24 x7, fast and cheap. Engineering is mega magnitude. Many super long and tall bridges, rails and roads they build are super huge and all over the world. In China 6000 miles of roads every year. Well, they have 8x STEM graduate, lots of engineers. The ONE BELT is a huge never ending construction Project of the Century as well. VERY impressive China!!

China has been having big issues with bridges and buildings collapsing after just a few years thanks to them building with literal garbage. It has nothing to do with Propaganda, China doesn't need to do such a silly thing, it's already dominating the world when it comes to mega infrastructure. The Menghua Railway is a transportation railway and is designed to handle trains up to 20,000 tons. Because of the weight and the hilly terrain, it was necessary to flatten out the slope. The surrounding area is cultivated land, and the cost of land acquisition is extremely high, so this is the solution.

The last century belonged to America, this century will belong to China!!! For the poorly educated Americans who are ranked 15th to 17th in the world in education China may have stole some technology but the rest you gave them freely. In the 1990's and 2000's you moved your factories to China. To established a factory in China you needed a Chinese partner. I-phones, Computers, TV etc technology was transferred to China. You hand the Chinese the technology to lets say make a I-phone. What do you think the Chinese are going to do? The other thing is I know in Canada and I assume the same in the US is that Colleges and Universities have people who's only job is to recruit foreign students. Why? Because they pay more in tuition fees and colleges and universities are about revenue. So these Chinese students come over, they are educated, they may intern at various companies as part of the education lets say at Apple or Microsoft, Google etc. They graduate and go home. My wife and I were in China in 2007 and when we returned to Canada I said to my friends your children should learn Mandarin if they want to work in international business. I had an business associate who taught entrepreneurship/business at one of the top universities in Canada and he said the most entrepreneurship students were the Chinese by far. What Americans do not realize is that China is a entrepreneurship/business country that also takes care of their citizens through various social programs.Their elderly retire when they are 55 years old.

China built the world’s largest high speed rail system (100s of vehicles and 28,000 miles of tracks, 80,000 miles of new highway/roads, dozens of hydro dams, an aqueduct river carrying water from flood prone south a 1000 miles to the dry north then turning 1000s of acres of Gobi sand to agricultural fields, a space program to rival any country’s program, graduated 1/2 a billion young engineers, scientists, doctors, technicians, AI/IT engineers, built several deep sea island bases, and the list continues...) and we built one government financed tower

I may be wrong, but I think this is Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge (丹昆特大桥; Dān-Kūn tèdà qiáo). It is a 165km (102 miles) long viaduct on the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway. It is the world's longest bridge. It is in Jiangsu Province, in the Yangtze River Delta, characterized by lowland rice paddies, canals, rivers, and lakes. It includes a 9-km section across Yangxheng Lake in Suzhou. All this shows why it needed to be elevated. The bridge passes through Yangtze population centers of Danyang, Changzhou, Wuxi, Suzhou and Kunshun. Construction began in 2006 and was completed in 2010 at a cost of $8.5 billion. It opened in 2011.
