I love that Kafka was called "old man" by Kikoru and got insulted when he's only 32. Proceeds to further her image of that by acting like a father figure and scolding her for putting herself in danger lol. Also her arm freaking being messed up had me shiver it was so broken lol.

Kikoru is the youngest and the strongest participant on this exercise field. She is only supposed to be 16/17 years old, compared to our Kafka and his 32, she is a real prodigy. She is a bit of a mix of Shoto and Bakugo for our Kafka/Deku (especially with her father being who he is).

3:50 I watched this over at Muse Asia and the translations are much better than what you have here. This is too "Americanized". 17:52 That seems to be the case. It is like he has 2 bodies. When he sustains damage in the human form, the Kaiju form will not repair the damage. On returning to his human form the previous damage still there. It is like he was just swapping bodies. 21:05 No, I don't think it is joining the defense force. It was able to infiltrate the cleaners because they hang around dead Kaiju and this thing probably decided to become one of them when it saw them.

Kaiju cleanup is also probably a fairly high turnover job situation that it’s easy to slip into without causing much of a stir.
