What is the name of the great blue eye shadow from Rude Cosmetics, please? I'm on their website and I can't figure out which one it is. There's one called Mirage and another called Kaleidoscope that are in the blue range.

Have you tried a drop of pure glycerin on your dry patch? I have psoriasis and nothing else helps with de-scaling. It's a bit sticky and shiny, so use it before bed. Just smear a drop on clean damp skin an leave it on. In a couple of hours you can try gently rubbing the dead skin off. You might need a few days of treatment in a row, but it always works. Also, try it on the sides of your nose as well! I hope it helps.

I hope you feel better soon (or that you filmed this last week, and that you are already better). For your crusty eye, ask James if he has any extra hypochlorous acid spray (I think he uses Prequel). For your eye, spray 4 or 5 times onto a cotton round and swipe your eyelid from the inner corner to the outer. It won't sting, and it won't dry the skin. It's the same ingredient found in actual eye sprays like (US brand) TheraTears Steri-Lid (which is also helpful if you get a little blepharitis). Thanks for making a video when you weren't even feeling well.

@@lolaheart5887, Mirage looks too light to be what Robert used, which was more of a turquoise blue. I am pretty sure it was the Kaleidoscope. If you don't hear back from Robert, that's what I would choose, if I was trying to replicate what he did.

when I saw that shade range I literally gasped and that issue doesn't even affect me personally. if drugstore brands can have 30+ shades, luxury brands have no excuse

I’m not affected either but I cannot wrap my head around it. I’m no businessperson or economist either but I don’t understand why companies don’t want to reach a wider customer base and make more money; just don’t do skin products if you can’t get the most out of it.

It's not about how many, it's about not being 85% white, 10% medium, and 5% dark. Those who aren't white deserve to have as many options in their foundation as us white people do. It needs to be split into thirds.

Robert you don’t know how much this means to me as dark skin person talking about horrible shade ranges, especially from makeup artist brands as yourself who’s a makeup artist. I can tell from a non makeup artist who has a good shade range and I’m not the darkest shade but more in between the deeper category. ❤❤❤❤

I feel ya, every time he mentions there’s not a lot olive tones in ranges I feel so seen! I always thought the reason I can’t find my shade is because I live in Souther California and most people who are similar medium brown to me are more yellow undertones. But no companies just don’t make a lot green hued shades. 🫶🏽

I set up a glam table at my garage sale, buck each w/cute bags for folks to fill up and that table was busy all day with giggling gals of all ages picking out my dumps- win, win all around! I agree. For the longest time, I felt if I could find my shade-that was all that mattered. My daughter pointed out that if EVERYONE refused to buy from brands with racist shade ranges… they would be forced to be inclusive. Also that no brand is so good that we should continue buying from them regardless.

I just wanted to agree with some other commenters I've seen, and say that your indignant support of broad shade ranges even though it doesn't affect you is really appreciated! Allies that are not personally affected by issues are important, and i do really feel supported by the people who speak up when they don't have to. So thanks for that. ❤

Just an FYI the purple lettering with the white outline was quite hard to read (both on the purple background and the normal film setup background) I think its cos of the lack of contrast and the white outline can make it looked blurred.

Love this series :) If the spot on your eyelid keeps being crusty, despite proper care, I'd suggest seeing a doctor about it. It sounds like it could be a little yeast infection or eczema. Allegedly ;)

That foundation shade range is just abysmal. You don't need 12 or more light shades. If you don't want to or are unable to produce 40 or 50 shades, then at least make the shades you do offer more evenly distributed. Maybe 5 light shades, 5 tan, 5 dark, and 5 deep. It won't cover everyone, but at least it's fair and there's an equal option for everyone. This isn't rocket science. 🙄

That concealer really does melt in. I'm a fan of Yensa, founded by Jennifer Yen who also makes Purlisse-- & I love Purlisse skin care. Both brands have nice face cosmetics. But those blue eyeshadows!!!

I bought the elf - green sticky primer ( probably not its real name ) after seeing you use it and oh my goodness I love it so much. I used it in the same way you described and i can't belive how great it is. I have never found a primer i like and works well but this is now a regular product for me.Thank you. Mix the Drunk Elephant Bronzing anti-pollution drops with aloe gel & 100% matte👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I still always use a powder to set, but for just for a fast minimalistic makeup look, drop+aloe=matte seriously try it.

If you haven't tried it, I have found the La roche-posay cicaplast balm to heal almost anything. It's like a lotion, not a balm. But also (at night) if I have a stubborn crusty, I use my favorite lip balm (literally it's called "my favorite night lip balm" from c.o. Bigelow and it's really my favorite for years now.) I move on from things very quickly so this is saying something lol

❤even when sick, you've got to be the most elegant creator I've ever watched. LOVE watching your videos! I've noticed a lot lately how complexion products will have all 3-4 undertones in the light shades then in the medium range verging into dark, you get 1-2 undertones. I have medium cool skin, and it's hard to find a shade. Not as hard as those BEAUTIFUL deep skin beauties so I'm absolutely not comparing my struggle to theirs at all. Just doesn't make sense why brands would do this.

For matte bronzing drops idea try the nyx total control drops. That should give you similar idea of deepening your skin but no shimmer.
