In February I went to OFE’s and met Dave. The orchid I got from him on a mount is blooming with huge spikes. Next time I want the Sherry’s dream Dendrobium on a piece of driftwood. Can’t wait. Great visit. Thanks for having us peek into your plant 🪴 place. 😊

Thank you for the amazing tour. I saw Dave at the last OFE fair but didn't buy anything because he was busy with others customers and I wanted to ask him questions about some of his orchids. I will definitely make sure I am more patient at the next OFS fair. I am very interested in sun-loving orchids since I have a pergola that has a trellis wall that receives full sun from morning until about 3 pm.

Omg! Nelson! What a wonderful home visit. So long story short ( I hope) … I was at OFE and bought a shromburgkia from Dave. It was so hot that I almost fainted and had to sit and cool down in Lady Vanda’s tent. Mr Vanda was very nice and got me some water from Carlos and gave me a mokara. Lol. But with all that I had realized I I had forgotten to ask Dave the name of the plant and how to care for it. And then you made this video!! How perfect! Thank you!!

Sir Nelson, the pink dendrobiums there with those very long spikes look similar to our U.H.Pink dendro here in the Philippines. It has a white counterpart that are very saleable at floral shops.

I was thinking the same thing! Maybe your Dendrobium is the same as his. Do you have yours tagged? I may put it outside towards the sun. I’ve had it in the Quicktent and it’s grown allot but no flowers yet.

@@naturenel no, mine is not tagged. It is very similar to his, the flower shape but not exact the same in color. It does grows big canes like that. The one I mounted at my moms tree is huge growing and flowering like crazy.

Amazing property and the size of those dendrobiums, OMG😱. Did you miss the hanging shark in one of his sheds! I had a neighbor who had a bird house for the purple martins and I always enjoyed their annual stay. Sadly, they sold their house and the new owners got rid of the house. So, no more purple martins in our neighborhood 😩. If you get one, you will LOVE them😍
