I wish I had the time to do more art. As it is I barely have time to do my daily duties. I have to pick and choose my projects. Doing art is very time consuming. If I went back to that, I assure you Nature Nel channel would not be as frequent as it is now. Plus my orchid care takes all my leisure time. It’s the only way to have orchids the way I do. Constant care and attention is key to a successful blooming collection. 💚

Thank you! I got the Brothers label maker in Amazon. The actual label strips are also sold on Amazon. I do repot my orchids but I always acclimate them in my environment for several weeks before I repot.

Thank you! The Arachnis are in their original pots. I don’t know what medium their in. I basically leaned it against the tree and tied the canes to the trunk. Nature did the rest. 💚

I shoot it all in 2/4K. The editor processes it at 1080. If your getting 720, I honestly have nobodies why. Perhaps the highest KZbin will allow from my channel is 720. But I’m going by the visual. My videos are complete different in quality from my first uploads.

Hi Nelson! Love your orchids!👏Bravo! I have a question: does your space ever get bright light? Your orchids are magnificent but it looks like they're growing in moderate shade? I'm asking because I'm starting to amass somewhat of a collection and I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I live in Texas and the weather's not appropriate for orchids to grow outside here in the summertime (it gets up to 115+). I'm growing in an indoor greenhouse with VERY bright lighting, but if I could keep some in my well lit dining room that faces south, I could collect way more beauties.😍🤣 Please let me know that you think. Texas is a completely different. I can only vouch for my environment. I keep my orchids in a shade house screen. The Vandas enjoy allot of sun but Phalaeonopsis don’t. So it all depends what you plan on getting. You will need a controlled room for your orchids. 115+ is not orchid conditions. They need humidity and feeding every week to be able to produce plenty of blooms and build up their resistance. It’s all about trial and discovery.

That’s called a Queen's Wreath (Petrea volubilis) It’s an evergreen flowering vine in the family Verbenaceae. They grow in tropical climates.
