Yay, now the piggies have shelter. I wonder how Diane will react to the others after she gives birth. I’ve heard that either she or some of the other pigs may kill and consume the piglets, males are more likely to kill them. The sow may do it due to stress. One thing you’ll have to prep for is for the piglets to escape from the jail. If at all feasible you may want to build a smaller enclosure and shelter for Diane. I know this isn’t ideal but may need to be done. The puppies are at the fun cute stage where they’re running around and playing, chunky and a bit clumsy. The one puppy laying on mamas back was adorable.

I agree! Our current plan is to use the hog panels from the old garden fence to make her own section, which will include half of the shelter.

I've left a comment already, but this one deserves its own. *NASH, you never cease to impress me.* Your attitude is always positive, you are a great big brother, a great help to your folks, a super animal (birds especially) caretaker and obviously a top-notch film and editor of these videos. I want to thank you for that.

FYI I had a dog that would scratch SO much. We thought it was a spring allergy. It took 7 yrs to figure out she was allergic to the flea medicine. Changed the flea med and she was fine.

Poor kitty. When it comes to the fence… where there’s a will, there’s a way. I hope the piglets can’t get thru the bars on the pig jail. The puppies are gonna go out exploring. Lol thank you for the video

I’m sure the piglets will get out! But hopefully that will be fine-I’m assuming they’ll stay close to mama, but they can range also. We’ll learn as we go!

R u sure he doesn’t have ring worm. Take a black light and see if those spots glow green.

It’s not, even the vet checked. He just scratches everywhere, no skin lesions or areas that look bad. I wish it was ringworm , it would be simple to treat!!

Fynn, your joke was *AWESOME* and yes, Aaron, I do remember the original commercial. Now here I am on the market for one of those very same buttons! For real! *So, if anyone here knows of any services that don't cost a fortune and you can choose who they call first (family vs 911), I'd appreciate it! I'm in Canada, but I'm sure some services are in both US and Canada. I'd just appreciate anyone's input both as a user and a family member of someone with one!* Glad you had a great time on your vacation and that you got home safely. The roads ARE crazy now-a-days. It used to be that you could pull over on the side of the road and if you had your hood up or trunk open, people would stop to see if they can help. Now I read that they tell women especially, that if you break down on the side of a highway or deserted stretch of road, to go ahead and call the police first, so they can come and keep you safe until your tow/assistance arrives. It's sad. Bryar remains in my prayers daily, as does the family. I appreciate your kindness.🥰 Heather🇨🇦

Just a thought. A neighbor we had years ago had some cats and had the same issue as Moose is having. Turned out it was something that the humans in the house changed and we now using. It was a cleaning supply. I cannot remember what the name was. Also, I read not long ago that even some kinds of hand lotions and soaps can do that to cats when we handle the cats with our hands. I sure hope you can get to the bottom of this soon.

I agree. We’ve been trying to think about anything that has changed. I’m stumped!

The pig jail looks good with the housing for them. Hmm... I only know the 'I have fallen and I can't get up" from the sitcom Family Matters. Steve Urkel used to say it all the time.

@tinasachs86882 ай бұрын
@@ottaknow good question as both are from 1989… according to the Internet. Over here we never had that commercial and the sitcom didn't start until 1995.

I know you have enough expenses, but if you do decide to change up his litter, my daughter switched her cat to a paper pellet litter because he IS high maintenance and I seem to be bothered by the dust from regular litter too (though I prefer to not be called high-maintenance. After all, the litter is her job, not mine and I don't smell it at all. Downfalls, when you look online, are that it doesn't work as well with odor control but she uses baking soda on the bottom of the litter box which does help. Again, I don't smell it at all and I DETEST the smell of cat pee! It is clean, no-dust and environmentally friendly. She changes it completely on a weekly basis but other than that, she just scoops out the soiled paper and turds regularly (it doesn't clump but does expand making the soiled ones easy to spot) and then she tops it off to the depth her cat likes it and seems to work best. It does cost a bit more per bag, but she claims to not have to use as much per use since she stays on top of it and does the one big clean out weekly. So, if you determine the litter is worth switching for poor Moose, you could try the paper pellets. Heather 🇨🇦
