Beckham is most likely struggling while standing because of his hips. I noticed while he was sitting in the chair he was drooling a little. Was he scared or not feel the best? While Hunter was working on the G-Tube Beckham was really trying to talk in fact he almost said mom. I feel so bad for Beckham at times because he is trying so hard to tell you something and depending on what is going on you're thinking of the next thing to say and the only real emotion/communication from Beckham that you react to when dealing with something medical is when he cries. When he was reaching for the G-Tube and when he said mom etc..I think he was trying to tell you he was hurting. I know it's a tough balance, but Beckham is really starting express how he feels in his own way and he's older and getting smarter everyday. He looked great sitting in the chair, but by the look on his face he was not sure about it, but that will come over time, I'm sure. Beckham is way smarter than anyone realizes. I am glad Blakely is okay. They teach each other things everyday

I recommend the simple seed baby they’ve just bought out a gtube access range and it’s made of bamboo meaning it’s stretchy and lasts for longer it also has a back but opening for easier diaper checks and changes and you can take the legs out through the back butt opening and also as it’s stretchy undressing him for diaper changes especially with stiff hips might be more comfortable x❤

Have you tried buying a soft gel freeze pack? In the UK we have ones shaped like characters from tv/books. It works well as Children like the characters but also it’s softer than using ice! Definitely worth always having one in the fridge, for these unexpected accidents 😊 Well done on blurring out when Blakey was eating her lolly! Too many strange people watching these days, good to see you are protecting your children!

My Grandson’s G-tube is on the same size as Beckham’s. His G-tube shouldn’t hurt him like it does. 😢 I haven’t watched the video until the end yet so I’m hoping it’s fixed now. Beckham is so sweet and so adorable!! ❤ Blakley is so empathetic and so sweet to her big brother! You have to see my Grandson, Rowdy, he is so much like Beckham in so many ways. Rowdy just had hip surgery on one of his hips and will have hip surgery on the other one when his other hip is fully healed. There are a few things I wanted to prepare you for and also hopefully prevent. The big one is since Rowdy and Beckham aren’t able to talk they can’t let us know all the places they are hurting. Rowdy’s body cast gave him a extremely painful ulcer on his back. 😢 You can see Rowdy on my channel so you can see what I mean. I am so sorry your family had such a tough week.❤

For bumps on heads etc., my family used T-Relief homeopathic ointment. If you can get this on a bump very quickly, it will dramatically reduce the swelling, bruising, and pain. We kept it handy so we could get it on a bump within a minute. (We wouldn't put it directly on broken skin, just put it in a circle around the broken skin.) We'd put more ointment on every hour or so for the first few hours then just if needed for discomfort. T-Relief has anti-inflammatory effects like ice-ing but without the "owie-cold." (I was always "The T-Relief Lady" at gymnastics class, ballet, and homeschool park days! But when other moms saw how well it worked, they started getting their own...)

Hey Rachel, sorry you’ve all had quite the week! I just wanted to mention this because it’s something I’ve struggled with, the granular tissue around his g-tube might make it uncomfortable. I have a feeding tube and it can be quite painful, I know it can happen easily and definitely is frustrating taking care of it. I think I’ve heard you mention that problem before. I was just wondering if maybe tube changes would be easier if that got taken care of first, I know I’m more sensitive to when its changed during a flare up. I also use a cream called Calmoseptine (it’s on Amazon), which was given to me by the surgeon who placed my feeding tube, it really helps. Hope you have a better week. Side note, your little one is such a good sister, she seems to modeling right after you. 🤍
