RIP Anne Heche. I remember this court hearing so vividly. (Another World showed at lunchtimes on Sky One here in England back in the late 80s / early 90s, just as I was home from school for my lunch!) And I was stunned by the brilliance of Vicky in it. It really was amazing stuff. Once again, RIP Anne Heche. You gave your everything in scenes like the one at the end here. The passion you put into the role of Vicky was superlative. Thank you for your talent.

This is the scene that never left my brain from the time that it aired. I was just a little kid at the time and it’s always one of the first things I thought of when I thought of Anne Heche on another world.

Rachel must have seen herself fighting with Mac in this last scene with Vicky and Jamie!

Actually I think by watching Vicky she must have seen herself when she was viciously fighting with and for Jamie's father Steven!

Vicky was her own worst enemy! Her past lies, manipulation, deceit, and desperation did not help her in that court room.

He’s blaming Vicky for things that were his choice, like distancing himself from Steven or agreeing to marry her… He could’ve stayed with Lisa instead of sleeping with Vicky every chance he could… I know Vicky schemed, but he was a very very willing participant in the “relationship“.

Always thought Jamie was a moron for dumping Lisa, who would have been far away a better choice for a mate than Vicky. Though Vicky did eventually mature and become a better person. I think really raising her child matured her a lot.

i'm surprised she didn't slap hm

Also, being a liar and a schemer doesn’t mean that you won’t be a good mom. I’ve seen enough soap operas all my life to know, a lot of vixens on daytime have been able to keep their children! Lol.
