I always loved Ellen Wheeler's portrayal of Marley/Vicky...she was amazing! I was hooked as a preteen

What was Ellen's natural voice, Ellen as Vicky or Ellen as Marley? I amazed she added that touch of the different voices and even Vicky pretending to be Marley had a different octave than Ellen as Marley or Ellen as Victoria.

Madonna's Borderline video always reminded me of Vicky and Jake. I always wondered if producers or writers didn't see that video and base the character somewhat on that. After all Madonna was hot when Jake and Vicky were introduced.

Loved Marley and Jake as well as Marley and Tyrone I don’t know if the latter ever got married on the show towards the end of the show

You know, I must say that Ellen Wheeler was phenomenal as Vicky/Marley. I came in when Anne Heche had already started, so I never saw Ellen in the role.

Great stuff, so glad you found this. Wish you would find more. Mac electronic books, a little advanced for the 80's. Strange we have them now.

Thanks. This is likely the week of January 6-10 - based on the long closing credits and talk of Sunday and Monday programs, I'd guess it's the 10th. Really enjoyed this episode - great to see so much Marley and Vicky and even Vicky playing Marley. And wonderful work from Irene Dailey, with poor Liz in love with Mac as always. Douglass Watson doing great work as an on the edge Mac. Robert Lupone is also great as Neal - yet another wasted, discarded AW character. That's Lela Ivey talking with Jake - from Edge of Night and various plays and films (like Addamm's Family).

Great episode, thanks. Scenes like these remind me of why I came to love Ellen playing Marley and Vickie in the first place. They could've brought on a dozen of each... any other actor playing the twins would've seemed, to me, pale in comparison. - Now of course a better quality version of the episode would be... even nicer.

I agree. This was a great episode and great cast on that day. I guess the weakest link would me Taylor Miller (Sally). I always like the actress, but never enjoyed her as Sally. When Mac came in, she asked him, "why did you fire Liz?". Sally had always addressed "Liz" as "Aunt Liz". So I found that kind of odd. But just a little thing, but great episode overall. Thanks for sharing bmuz:)

I think this is the first year I watched. Probably the middle of the year. I was 18, & I think I saw the beginnings of Robert Kelker Kelly's run or romance, with a rich girl. It was one of those Love In The Afternoon commercials that peaked my interest. I don't remember his character name, but Amanda Corey was the target of his affection.

From a CTV airing using the old introductory announcement ("And now, the continuing story of 'Another World'" at the 2:10 mark)...NBC airings had Bill Wolff simply saying the show's title followed by a sponsor plug!

This aied 5 month before I would graduate from middle school. I used rush home to watch another world from 2pm to. 3pm. Then I would watch another classic soap. Guiding light from 3 until 4pm. Another world. And guiding light even as the world turns. Were. Better soaps then the 4 remaining trash that we have now general hospital. The young and the restless. The bold and the beautiful cant and never will have the great writing that. AW. GL. OR ATWT. Had these 3 soaps will always be far more superior than those 4 remaining garbage uneven soaps that are left especially General hospital . Days of our lives could be better. But all that uneven show does is show kidnapping after kidnapping after kidnapping nothing new zzzzzzzz. Very boring.
