If you knock at that pony wall in the hallway and install spindles or modern railing, it would open up that area and add more light. The pony wall closes off that hallway.

I loved seeing the transformations in the 2023 project recap! The renovations were impressive, and it's inspiring to witness the hard work put into making spaces beautiful. Can't wait to see what's in store for 2024!

You are my inspiration to not be afraid to do new things. I was always so scared to try and modify my home other than throwing on paint and calling it a day. Since ive started following you, i have cut my own shiplap, replaced drywall(even the scary, not so fun stuff in my bathroom😢) replaced baseboards to be more modern, built a kitchen island, and so much more. You are a boss girl, and i really look to you for inspo and the courage to tackle these renos, and it's the most fun I've ever had. So, thank you.

I remember each of these projects and all nicely done. One thing you could do - take down the 1/2 wall in the upstairs hall and install railings, would really open that up. I look forward to all the projects for the new year - you always have great ideas and good content.

You are a one woman renovating machine Kelsey! I recently found your channel and am enjoying watching videos from 2023. Keep up the wonderful work! My husband is very handy also, but these videos are making me think I can renovate some things too.

Still just LOVE that sink in the kids’ bathroom-a happy accident! Still takes my breath away remembering you wrangling that entire mirror. 😱 Still am so glad you went with the dark and cozy vibe for the primary bedroom. Still remember the utter controversy of the fireplace mantle redo😂 Still love the arches and midtone color on the bookcases. The house number? Still giving me life. What a productive and inspiring year!!! My husband and I remodeled a couple of houses but he passed away in 2021. I did all the design and finish work like caulk and paint but he always did all the saws, drills, and actual construction stuff. Your channel gave me the confidence to do the construction stuff too! I got a few of my own smaller, lighter, some less powerful tools that I am more comfortable with and just went for it. I installed my own glass shower door first. Next I put in picture frame molding and crown molding I always wanted in my entryway. I just started my next project of built-in bookcases using ready-made wall cabinets for the base. I feel really macho telling people how I used my new multi tool to cut away that baseboard and how I built my own base frame. I have plans for my half bath after that. I look forward to your updates in the new year. I’m about to do a garage redo myself since i now have all these new tools. 😂

With your creative mind and skills I doubt you will be finished with home - until you move again, of course. Why not utilize your talents to improve your home for you and your family?! Of course if you ever wanted to take a break from the physical labor you could consider online consulting with some of your followers. Troubleshooting problem areas virtually might be interesting. Some viewers might be willing to have their scenario posted, others not so much. Either way it would be a change of pace for you.

I know this is a silly question my name is Amber I am Joe's wife. I am a foster mom do you kids still have the bunk beds or did you take them down? Would you recommend a bunk bed? I'm thinking of redoing the boy's room? They are 5 and 6? What is your opinion about bunk beds What do you have on their mattresses to protect them?
@KelseyRomitoDIY7 ай бұрын
My son still has his bunk beds and he loves it. My grandpa built the bed so I can’t link it. But I really like that when he gets older I can remove the bottom bunk and put a full sized bed underneath. I just use simple mattress protectors under their sheets.

@@KelseyRomitoDIY If you have a change can you make a video of the bunk bed? Do you have a water proof bed cover?

I want to know if your epoxy kitchen countertops are holding up well. Any scratches etc.?
@KelseyRomitoDIY7 ай бұрын
I do have a few scratches but they’ve held up great. Planning to sand them down and reseal sometime in the future.
