Have you ever considered buying another camera for focus stacking, which has a built-in bracketing function unlike the sony? Or are you comfortable enough with manual focusing?
@anotherperspective30762 жыл бұрын
Yes I have... thats really a point. But I have spend too much money on sony gear... so I will keep shooting single frames and stack just in rare situations (or try handheld stacking)

Awesome, Fantastic great vid these need to be seen by more people. So much time and effort goes into these love them please keep them coming. You never know I might even give it a try, would make a difference from my Car and Sports shots.

Superb Macros. Loved your work on the pollen - I am working in the 1:1 isch range - you are entering microscope territory :) well done. One Question: how do you manage to get the framing this tight e,g for the lily timelapses. I tried to timelapse the opening of a tulip... wrong choice - I didn't realise they don't just open but also also grow, a lot! I had to reframe my shots several times. I want to redo with some flowers which open more than they grow so I don't run into the problem as much of the flower growing out of the framing of the shot.

This time... it was like look that they did not grow anymore. I have a tip for you: cut a hole in black sheep and put flower inside the hole, then fix the flower from the bottom of black sheet; then put black sheet on 2 books for example as setup, the flower stand will hang free (maybe still inside water): When it keeps growing it will grow to the bottom and the flower will stay stable.

Sir, I am from India ... And genuinely loved what you do .. Basically I am fond of macro photography... Would you please tell me , how to take perfect macro photo from a decent mobile 🙏😌❤️

Its all about lighting and the quality of the lens of your phone. Good illumation, low iso, the rest depends on the phone

Taking macro to the next level w/rotation - unique content, well paced and presented, Jens. Too bad about that banana; perhaps leaving the skin on would better show ripening. Apple skins nearby should speed up ripening. But, to continue the food theme, perhaps the technique would be good for items as they cook - e.g., raw to roasted chicken. No? Looked like the ice cubes vid included a blue flame in upper right. BTW, nice haircut😊. Cheers!

Thank you Paul! Yes, maybe I should have tried a very fresh/very old one which shows more "change". I will keep on collecting footage. Thank you for your ideas
@SinaFarhat2 жыл бұрын
wow! :) Is f16 enough for you to get the frames in focus for the moving timelapse or do you refocus at some point in the shooting process? keep up the good work!
@anotherperspective30762 жыл бұрын
Thank you:) on the ice cube i had to Set Focus again. The flower f.e. was shot manually without any changes
