Please do some slo-mo of insects, landing, feeding, and taking off from flowers. I love the way bees can take off backwards. A very interesting video, so many thanks. 😀

I had no idea my X-T4 could shoot up to 240 fps - I thought the max was 60! So happy to learn this :D

Something like the MagFilter’s 52mm adapter might help you attach the magnifier lens right to your camera. I used it on my point and shoot a few years ago to add a CPL to the camera and have been pleased with the results. The downside is that you have a metal ring permanently glued to end of your lens, but that ended up being more of a worry than a real problem.

High speed is fun! Ever tried a beehive? Did one today in Alster outside Karlstad. Casio used to have a range of 1000 fps consumer cameras but not hd and looks like they left the camera market. Anyways, when it comes to drops and water, background and surroundings is everything, I recommend angeling the light so it bounches directly from water surface into the lens, this will create very strong light and dark shades in the droplets.

Merci beaucoup. This video is really helpful and the footages are beautiful. I'll go through some experiments with my sony fx6.

The Raynox 250 will fit over the Newer 10x with just enough clearance for some incredible macro. I'm speaking of the Newer wide angle / 10x macro combo that comes with an adapter that fits over the zv-1

Nice video, i just won a sony zv1 and i will do some slow mo in the future.. im just wondering if you need to double your shutterspeed also?the 180 shutter rule?
@MicaelWidell2 жыл бұрын
I guess that would be optimal perhaps :) But I am no expert in videography. I think this video probably holds your answer: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4GzhJd5p9aWfLM

You might also get a used Huawei P40 Pro for a similar price range. It offers pretty decent slowmo speeds: fullHD up to 960fps. In 720p it offers 1920fps and 7680fps, although the latter seems like an internal optical flow based slowdown from 1920fps. All modes only offer short bursts of about 3s of recording time. A nice feature is an optional movement detection area on screen. The recording is on standby until something moves inside the detection area which will activate the recording. Decent fun for a phone. Thanks for sharing this episode, appreciated. 🍻🍀📸👍

I won't be surprised if Google soon adds this in the form of a firmware update to their line of Pixel cellphones! with their unlimited budget and deep pocket, then their sharp-cutting spy eyes! this is the least to expect... So I wait for now as just checked the P40 and they are in the neighborhood of 1K $ but mostly shipping from the UK and I'm more comfortable buying locally from the USA based on bad prior experiences. Bottom line: Don't think I'm going to lose anything but save big, if I can wait a bit longer for that extreme FPS rate.

This zv1 has a bigger sensor so no phone would be able to provide a better slow mo, considering you need more lights in slow mo.

3:58 Yepppp. Wanted to suggest New GoPro but a wide-angle lens and non-interchangeable formate (Unless you hack it as some have done!) are big obstacles on the way or macro free-falling drop! Yet I think its possible if any already own a GoPro.

I like the smooth scenes a lot but oh boy... 170 bucks for a smartphone operated dripping machine?!.... I would never ever go for that... instead of that, i would go for a medical infusion ... I can easily adjust the drops there aswell and it doesn't need any power.....
