I've been looking for this record for years. I use to have the 45 when it came out. Lost it thanks for posting it. 🤗

Speaking of Steppenwolf, this reminds me of their 1969 song, "Move Over".

I can definitely hear a little bit of the Steppenwolf song on this

I’ve been aware of this record for years, but it occurred to me just now that I don’t think I’ve ever heard it before.

Oh my. I was thinking about this song a few days ago. I didn't know the artist or name. I had looked years ago thinking i heard it on The Banana Splits or something along those lines. I was driving to the store and was listening to Casey Kasem 70s on 7 on Sirius when he played this song. I scared my passengers with a loud yell...Here it is, yes! Now I can die happy!

Are you aware that the rhythm section on this record played on the west coast Motown sessions as well as Jimmy Smith's "Root Down"? Drummer Paul Humphrey and bassist Wilton Felder.

Trivia -- This Paul Humphrey is the same guy who played drums with Lawrence Welk's orchestra. Isn't dat Wunnerful!

I wonder why the logo looks much more like a cat than a lizard, the label's name.
@robertorick63832 жыл бұрын
Maybe the cat's name was "Lizard".😺😺😺🦎🦎🦎

This isn't the song "Cool Aid", it's called "Detroit"!
