Yo, it was crazy hard to narrow my fave plants down to just 15. 😱 I labored over the decision for quite some time, but I think those featured here are definitely worthy, and I believe you'll love them too. 😍 Thanks for watching!

Great choices. I only have B. quadrialata, B. hoehneana and N. pemphidius, all of which I love. Really want to get into small growing Tillandsia.

Love your videos and your plants! I am happy enough to have Vriesea flammea as a native in my area and every time I see a hummingbird visiting a flowered one my heart warms up. Unfortunately, despite the vast list of tillandsia, vriesea and other bromeliad species native here that heavily cover trees even in the city, they are usually seen as weeds. I've seen hundreds of mature plants being ripped from trees and disposed of as garbage, as a common cleaning and tidying up process ("gardening"). Even though they are protected by law. Hope cultivation and education some day help us out. Keep up with the great work.

Love the vid! Where do you get all those endangered plants from?
@AnotherWorldTerraria10 ай бұрын
The sources vary. I have a network of friends and specialists in the hobby who work with rare and endangered plants. I cannot trace every rare plant back to the original source, but to the best of my knowledge the most endangered ones were obtained legitimately and through channels which had conservation in mind.

How does shipping the unidentified/ undocumented plants and species work out with customs? Surely they have to inspect them for hitchhiking insects and what not right? Even if it’s for conservation purposes, they still have to check things out yeah?

Correct. All plants must follow the specified governmental and regulatory processes for permits, inspections, etc. All of my plants are obtained through legitimate sources with proper documentation and shipping, or from friends or contacts.
