Certainly Toronto to Vancouver would be a link between the biggest east coast and west coast consumer marketplaces in just 4 hours or so I would believe. With the booming East Indian community in metro Vancouver as well it reminds people of the Air India slaughter. I wont be surprised in fact if that route is basically the largest in terms of cargo and or passengers in Canada.

The remarkable thing about this video is those captions of where the planes were coming from... and it made me think... Here are all these people coming to Vancouver for business, coming back from vacation or business elsewhere in the world - as far away as Australia no less, parents coming to visit kids who live and work in Vancouver, people who are moving to Vancouver... on a daily basis. And there are equal number of people leaving Vancouver for same reasons. But think... this is happening in every city on our planet. Tells you that people in our world today are so mobile... they think globally... that the world is their neighborhood. Air travel today is so easy... I think more comfortable than a bus. Lucky we live today on this planet eh?

The 330 & 340 share basically the same wing. I like flying on Cathay’s 330’s reasonable leg room. They seem to ride turbulence well but that’s subjective, been on a few reasonably stormy trips. Those GE90’s on the 777 are huge!
