It depends on where you are -- in New York or London, you might be able to get a two bedroom apartment. But this is clearly either for people who prefer to live full time on the road (which would mean your big house and land was undesirable to them) or people who already have a house like that, and can afford a traveling home of this caliber also. Either way, there'd be no point in substituting a stationary house for it -- that isn't the purpose.

Yeah but a house and acreage aren't mobile. Plus anywhere where you can get a house and acreage for a million bucks is usually some place not very desirable to live culturally in the United States. i spent 35 years working in ArchitectualWoodworking Business basically everything we did was CustomFabrication and inhouse Engineerecd i’ve personally been a Avid Outdoorsman with lots of RVing and Camping history. along with being a long term Airstream Owner and Enthusiast 1492 is certainly setting the bar on this style and is awesome at providing a fantastic Product with a Extremely nice Fit and Finish on everything ! I’m a little bit OCD because that’s what i’m about on my Craftsman ship what i like about you guys is the details don’t stop beyond the first impression when i build something like a peice of furniture and someone compliments me on it i like to say Thankyou and i flip it over to show them the bottom or underside that is just as pretty as the rest of it i also like having Control of all those details like 1492 the nice Labeling tags built in house and permanently Riveted along with being engraved onto the Coach is a touch of Class and a great Conveinence to every Owner instead of slapping some plastic tag with double sided tape that won’t be there in a few years of use those are the things that really are important IMO i restored a 1964 woodenChris Craft CabinCruiser and every peice of Bightwork got 14 to 17 Coats of Spar Varnish on all surfaces including the back or underside of it that no one will actually see when installed back in its proper place when the Restoration was Completed somewhat similar to the interiors of the storage Bays on the Coach you guys used in this video the other small details like the interior lights and standard Outlets well that’s just doing things correctly IMO especially in todays world when even infant toys now are rechargeable and Electronic !

I suppose you all weld the aluminum for appearance and some strength advantage. As an aviation technician myself and having worked with aluminum alloys of 5056, 6063 T6 and 7075 T6 I can't help but wonder if welding compromises the temper of said alloy. We rarely if every weld Aluminum in aircraft, never in the fuselage skins. The only disadvantage i can see to a welded structure are repairs to the skin. If your skins are .050 inch I can see where welding in a repair might be difficult. Of course with riveting it's not an issue, but... it's also not as pretty! I'm also curious about your frame distances and if you use stringers and longerons (horizontal structure fore and aft)?

Looks like a lot of fun could be had with this beast at a NASCAR race. Lovely build, I guess if i was beyond-necessary-rich, I would get both a class A diesel pusher, as well as one of these Super Cs, both have their pros and cons

I don’t think it complies with NASCAR rules. Plus, it is way too heavy. I don’t think it would be competitive at all.

@@stinkyabramowitz7209 But can you go to a potty brake in one of the other NASCAR cars? just jam a wrench under the steering wheel at the right angle and got to the loo. It would win by the "fast paced walk" principle, has all the creature comforts to run without a pitstop for the entire race!
