ANSCHUTZ 9015 ONE RIFLE & FITTING THE RATWORKS QUICK FILL ADAPTER (PART 2)

fitting the Ratworks quick fill adapter to the ANSCHUTZ 9015 ONE RIFLE after keep removing the air cylinder every time to refill with air, apart from keep unscrewing the cylinder from the rifle, then undoing the dive bottle hose to fit the Anschutz adapter to fill up and put back in the rifle, I started to think of maybe long term damage to the thread and the rifle, so decide to purchase from ratworks the quick fill adapter. here's the way I done mine, not saying it is the correct way, or you should do it yourself, its just the way I done mine without any problems at all, no damage or no scratches on the cylinder the fitting of the adapter is very easy to do and took less than 30 minutes to do, as for the product itself it truly is a nice bit of kit, well made and well engineered, I wouldn't hesitate in buying one, if only to save any damage to the cylinder after long term use, plus also its a lot quicker and easier to refill really sorry for the bad audio and video content, I’m not a video editor or sound engineer, I'm more hands on and get the job done, hope some of you will find this useful thanks for looking regards...Keith in Swindon (just an oily rag)

mrmyford, thanks for the vid, I've just bought a 9015 precise 2 and I too find it a pain in the arse having to remove the cylinder 3 or 4 for times during an all day session at the indoor range I go to. Plus the added factor that the range owners kindly give me the use of a spare dive tank to have at my bench, at no extra cost on the range fee, in order not to disrupt anyone else by taking off the whip and replacing everytime. Hopefully the quickfill I have just ordered from Ratworks will arrive before my next visit and I can get it fitted ready to go.

Thanks for the great video, very well explained. Are there any videos of fixing a leaking fill adapter.(Replacing the O ring on the one way valve inside the charging port.)? and is the cylinder clamp commercially available or did you make it.

How did you drain the gas cylinder?

The Aluminium decompression adaptor that mrmyford showed at the opposite end of the air cylinder. Just screw it on and the cylinder drains.

attenzione ho montato l'adattatore seguendo esattamente il video ma così perde aria dalla filettatura del manometro, solo dopo aver inserito un sottile o-ring che era nella confezione la perdita è stata eliminata, dovrebbero allegare delle istruzioni esatte.

think the issue you have is your own causing, had mine fitted as shown for nearly 3 years and never had a problem, guess you were unlucky fitting yours
