Hi bro,need to know why lvm are created ,is this related with application

yes, if you want to install some application on different disk other than system disk in linux.. we should provision disk to linux and do lvm partition in that lvm disk you can install application.. eg:. This is like instead of installing some games in c: we would select custom install while installing games ,we choose some other drive in windows to install on either d: or e:.
