How do the cloth belts get trimmed? Does the fabric material cut cleanly like the leather? Do you have to singe the edge with a lighter to seal it?

I just got the cloth belt it cuts pretty clean and the cut end is the end that goes into the buckle so you can’t see it as well. Yeah cuts pretty well

Now that you're one year into owning the Anson, how are the leather belts holding up? As durable as you thought? How about the buckles?

@@elwakka1944 I only just got mine so we will see how it holds up - I been looking at these types of belts for a while (I’m a big dude and an awkward belt can be so goddamn uncomfortable) I was looking to get a cheaper option because I’m in Australia so shipping as well kills it but after looking around I was like “fuck it may as well get Anson” 😂😂 1 negative - the little latch thing to unlock the belt is a touch awkward. It’s not the smoothest but I think that’s kinda the idea? So it doesn’t undo on its own? But to be honest I was almost hoping to hate on it… but it’s pretty awesome I gotta be honest. I’ll be happy to come back in a year and update 😂😂 but yeah I’m a bit shocked was expecting to not be impressed - but it’s pretty solid all round

Are the buckles heavy? I have a ratchet belt from another maker and the buckle weighs 100 lbs. Very uncomfortable.

Buckles are study but not too heavy💪

Don’t know if you got 1 yet - just got 1 the buckle is a tough on the heavy side I think just from everything in it (all the mechanisms for locking/unlocking the belt etc) so I’d say a touch heavier than a standard belt buckle. Not crazy but not the lightest either

The Anson belt is nice but I prefer the look and functionality of the Grip6 belt. You should do a review of Grip6 belts if you haven't already.
