When I think of Bette Davis the song "It's a hard knock Life" always plays in my head. She was tough but life taught her that at a young age. She always took care of her mother and unwell sister (mental illness?) so she was not without redeeming qualities. I was in advertising when Mork & Mindy was set to begin airing in the fall. A group of us attended a preview of the new season shows and I was literally blown away by Robin Williams. I had never seen anything like him, so original, so talented, so much energy. There was no doubt that show would be a hit.

What a wonderful interview: two of the most genuine men in the biz (or out) having a riveting conversation. Anson has a wealth of tales to tell. Craig always brings out the best in his guests and I didn't know much about Anson's post-"Happy Days" life and career. I grew up watching the show in syndication and I had such a crush on Potsie. I heard a radio interview with him at some point in this century that covered some of his musical endeavors, but I had no idea he was so involved in TV and film production. His candor in dishing the dirt on Bette Davis made my day. And this is the first I've heard about the anti-drowsy driving invention-bravo to that. I did see Anson on "Celebrity Ghost Stories" and his paranormal experience involved a car accident he and his dog miraculously survived, but it wasn't the incident that spawned the development of Alert Drops. (The other driver was at fault.) There are so many highlights and insights in this interview I've watched it three times because I'm drowsy and distracted. ❤️ from 🗽

He tells the story of Bette Davis so well I died of laughter. When he did the "I''m not dying for you Sons of BITCHES!!!" I doubled over and had to stop the world a minute. I was laughihng so hard. I've watched that part about 6 times now. Also it doesn't surprise me one bit that that's how Bette Davis behaved. Poor Anson

Just found this, really natural, lovely chat. What a charmer Anson Williams is, so smart and genuine. Keep these informative interviews coming. Any chance of a chat with Lorna Luft, Liza Minnelli's sister. Loved your interview with Barbara Streisand's sister.

Bette Davis is a terrible person but Anson her early movies like Dark Victory are classics 🎬🎭🎥🍿 However I respect you speaking your truth. Ron Howard seems like the most grounded person in the entertainment industry and I so very much respect him.

My goodness! That was you in the McDonald commercial.. That was your familiar face that I noticed when you were on the Happy Days. I was thinking, where did I see his face somewhere. I couldn’t believe it was you after all these years. Again, I really enjoyed the Happy Day shows a lot.
