I loved this walk around the town! It's so beautiful! It must have been a huge project to install running water, sewer, and electricity. I also wonder about any regulations that are different from the surrounding areas.

I was wondering where the charming village of Ansouis is? Did Piere forget Ansouis? ...and just as I was thinking about it, I turned on YT on my TV and what I saw - there was Ansouis! Thanks Pierre

I can not see the charm of this village. I would feel suffocated to live there between high walls with no gardens, parks only narrow streets. Thank you for the visit. I do not think I would ever go there. I wouldn’t like it not for a vacation or any short period of time.

We always choose to stay outside the historic villages, not least for the reasons you have given. That said, as soon as you leave the old village, you come across a large number of Provençal villas surrounded by greenery - it's a completely different environment!
