Situational awareness in this team or test team which was in Australia was lacking and is lacking here as well. Sanju and Abhishek role is clear see out couple of balls and then attack which they did and unfortunately perished soon but then its surya job to play anchor role and form partnership with incoming batters and take the game deep than just playing dumb ass shots all the time . Loosing wickets soon will always make small target look huge. Situational Awareness is what they require.

Sending Washington sundar up the order, the guy can't even hit a ball outside the 30 yard circle 😂😂 his t20 batting is a joke, he can't hit boundaries unless it's behind the wicket. Jurel should've been sent in his place. He and hardik ate all the balls like it was a test match to be drawn.

That’s the point 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 sense and smartness!. One point missing is skill. Once the ball starts moving in either direction even the skills of the so called greats crumble. The ball should keep its line. Then we’re the best!. They say they play fearless cricket. Actually for the past many months they play senseless cricket!. Indian batters have struggled to quality spinners invariably. Newzealand series is a prime example.

@@gollapallivenkatesh2006 I didnt single out anyone. I meant, a combined failure. Now, if you will ask me to single out someone, it will be Samson and Surya. Surya has been always irresponsible in his attitude ever since he took that catch. He has forgotten how to maintain an innings, just tried to hit every ball. Samson is clueless against 150kmph balls, clearly struggling. Abhishek needs to score but gets out in 20s, its okay he has a 70, clearly he is not the first opener, Jaiswal will slot in, as he is much much more consistent.

Surya always been hit every ball player actually he slowed down from last year. Hardik can't play quality spin bowling and his ego is also a factor, he denied single and he has done earlier too and both the times he failed. Sundar and jurel aren't a T20 batter, shivam dube is warming the bench, venkatesh is not even in the squad, abhisek is better than sanju ​@@TheSrijitMajumder
