College isn’t for everyone, but you can experience “real life experiences” while getting a college education. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive. If you decide to go back, be open minded to put yourself in spaces you normally wouldn’t. That’s how you grow/expand your world view❤️

College helps develop speech and writing skills, improving communication and brain/vocabulary development! It really improves personal development, to understand economics, business, arts, which really applies to all aspects of life. School matured me immensely, where you can have and understand adult conversations beyond high school understanding. I went back years after high school, you can take online anytime too, don’t rule out doing a year or two or some college courses in the future it’s incredibly beneficial. Especially if you’re running your own business.

It's pretty annoying how in this video you said "college is just learning things under your major and not necessarily real life experiences"... I'm sorry but what? You do realize most college students work, they pay their own bills, they have internships, etc. You keep repeating that you got more "real life" experience with your lifestyle than people in college, and I'm VERY curious as to what you mean by that. This take really isn't it. College isn't for everyone and that's fine but also don't preach about getting "more real life experience" when all you do is film yourself shopping, getting coffee and traveling.
@and.re_a2 жыл бұрын
I think she’s saying that college isn’t for her and regardless of her not going she got to experience life and learn a lot of things which is good for her considering she didn’t have the need to go to college. I don’t think she’s bashing people who do go to college and have to work hard and have a life like paying rent and having a job. Some peoples college experience isn’t the same. I have a full ass degree and agree that I didn’t need to spend thousands to know what I learned in university. Yes I learned things about life but my major… nah I could’ve literally took an online course and payed way less but my field requires a degree…
@PB-hn8nv2 жыл бұрын
@@and.re_a her exact words were that she got to be in "a lot MORE real life experiences THAN people in college". Like she's not just saying that college isn't for her, she's implying she's getting "real life experiences" but people who go straight to college don't because all they do is take classes lol which is a super narrow minded perspective of the average student.

@@PB-hn8nv dude at literally 1:52 she says “on the education part” and begins to say the things you’re referring to, shes specifically talking about the learning in a class about one specific thing not the whole college experience of a general student. The same thing happened to me. I ended puberty with a big chest, but went down a whole cup size smaller because of disordered eating. After recovery, I went back to having a bigger chest. I wish people would stop commenting on other people's bodies, they just end up putting a focus on certain aspects that they don't know could be a trigger for someone recovering with EDs and body image issues.

The reason u kept getting boob comments is because you never addressed them on tiktok and just said it’s the top you’re wearing, you also gained weight back which a lot of people didn’t realize so you can’t really get frustrated when you never addressed any of the comments but continued to wear shirts that showed them in all your tiktoks, people just assumed which they shouldn’t have but that’s the reality of social media. Paige did get a boob job so many people thought u got them done where she got hers done. this is no hate at all I’m just trying to help u understand why people kept asking

yeah unfortunately that’s social media and society that idealizes skinny girls and weight loss and puts ppl that are skinny with abs on pedestals it’s disgusting lol it’s not a synonym for health, fitness and it pisses me off how ppl literally glamorize being skinny, underweight and disordered eating behaviors bc it’s still the ideal or at least socially accepted ( like excessive exercise and clean eating, making sure it’s healthy and "gOoD fOr yOu" like shut up thats orthorexia 😭 )

I think Emma understands that there was no hate involved, but all of us need to understand as well that there’s a way to ask about something, or comment something without sounding rude and slightly disrespectful. There were a few comments on some of her recent TikToks that I saw that were a bit snippy, and rude, and some of those people commented in a way, that made it seem like they were somehow obligated and entitled to know what was going on.

@@tiamarrow6366 this! Like why are people so entitled to know every single little thing. You learn stuff regarding your major, yes, but I can say that I have learned more working in my industry than I ever did in school. So I can relate to what you’re saying! Unfortunately, my job requires a degree so I had to go. I also can relate to the boob stuff. My weight fluctuated quite a bit during college due to depression. Boobs are usually the first thing to go and the first thing to come back once you start eating healthy. So glad you’re happy and having a great time in California!! ♥️

The first two years of college, traditionally, is the time when you learn a little about a whole lot of stuff, and then by the third and fourth years, you've declared a major and are working toward a deeper understanding of a single subject. Also, internships in the summer between sophomore-junior and junior-senior years is the time students get that "real" world experience. Overall, I think Emma did miss out on something, like many who forewent college. That said, the book knowledge is always there for anyone to obtain. That's why there are public libraries if you don't want to spend a small fortune on books like most college students. And so it's not the book knowledge that' she's missed out on. She simply missed out on the college life experience. That said, I don't think people should think too much about it. Life is full of experiences. College is just a tiny wave amidst a whole ocean of waves. Find one and ride it for everything it's worth.
