Please don’t ever stop sharing the gospel and living it out. You clearly know your Bible which is rare among Christians. You are a breath of fresh air in the “influencer world”. When I started following Matt and Abbey I thought they would share their faith and I have been disappointed since it seems they have only fallen more into the world as they have become bigger influencers. I hope that you and Caleb are witnessing to them.

@virginiaspicka1287 Yes, Caleb and Abby are so refreshing! And i also agree, that it has been saddening for me to se the direction Matt and Abby seem to have been going. Not that I don’t love ‘em! I look forwards to each of M&A’s posts! But it’s a comfort to have the power of prayer! I am sure Caleb and Abby keep them in their prayers.. and even though i don’t actually know them, so do I! the Lord hears each and every one. So I’m so thankful that Caleb and Abby have the bravery- and honestly, love for Christ Jesus- to share their faith. It’s not only humbling, but it just makes me respect them all the more! Because It’s such a scary thing! But we have the armor of Christ.

Love this so much and how you openly share your faith on this platform. I’ve got a little girl called Abigail (but we call her Abby) and was partly inspired by you and your SIL Abby as it’s such a gorgeous name. Definitely agree the Bible Project is a helpful way to understand context of each book of the Bible! I definitely could be better with reading my word but currently just navigating life as a working mama and need to prioritise that time back again.

I gave my life to Christ when I was super young. All of my family and the people I grew up with are Christians as well. Being homeschooled and brought up learning about the Bible was a really good experience. I was surrounded by believers, I didn’t have any friends who weren’t Christians. The past 2 years have been really crazy, dealing with loss and change, including moving away from my home. I started taking some college classes along with my regular school work. I was growing in my faith and felt so close to God. Right before we moved I really started diving into the Bible and taking advantage of my youth group and asking lots of questions. It was just such a good experience. Then we moved and I was suddenly without a support group and friends. The last few months I started doing a lot of thinking from other perspectives to help strengthen my understanding of my faith. I don’t know if you have heard of Rhett and Link, (they’re KZbinrs who used to be christians) but I watched Rhett’s “deconstruction of faith” video. After watching that, it really scared me. How can someone who was so grounded and so passionate lose his faith like that? What if all I’ve ever believed is a lie? What if? I’ve been slowly working through this. I want it to be true. I want to have a savior. I want live for something but these doubts keep creeping in. I am doing lots of research and it is becoming more evident to me that God is real, Jesus is real, and the Bible is true. I’ve known these things all my life but it’s like I’m rebuilding a tower that got so easily knocked down. I know the devil is at work trying to weasel his way in anyway he can. I know I am being tested and it scared me how easily I wavered. I don’t want to be a lukewarm Christian. Please pray for me to have continued clarity and just for me to connect with the right people at my new church that can become my new support. Love your channel and what you do❤❤

Scriptures that rally help when facing trials: 1. John 5:19, 1. Corinthisns 10:13. I really experience that often myself, when I'm weak suddenly a scripture pops ip in my mind and it's always exactly what I need and I instantly thank Jehovah because I really feel he is on my side.

Maybe I am asking to much… but I am not a religious person and I always wanted to learn more about God… what would you say to made someone like me “curious” to learn more and discover their own faith?

The first step is to have the desire to know more about God. He created us with the need to trust and have faith in him, but with sin comes having faith and trusting worldly things. I believe God has already put in your hear the desire to know him in a deeper and in a more personal way, which is why you made the comment. A way that helps me be motivated to study and learn more about God is to try to figure out how his promises apply to my life. He has made many promises to us, and he fulfills those promises when and how it's best for us. Also, faith is suppose to grow as we learn more and we experience more, so don't feel like you need to trust Him 100% when you don't know him. Get to know Him, and he will show you that you are safe in his arms and you can trust him and have faith in him 100%. You can ask for signs if that helps you, Gideon did that when he was scared to trust (Judges 6). Little by little, you will need less and less signs, that's how you'll know your faith is growing and getting stronger. May God bless you today and always, and may He continue to grow your desire of knowing Him.

I believe the Holy Spirit itself takes away the desire to party and get drunk. When you are in close relationship with the Lord and filled with the Holy Spirit those things will start to bother you, you'll lose interest. In my case, even with music. Anything that's not worship sounds like noise to me. I'm not saying that listening to music is bad, it's just you change completely and most importantly, naturally. I see people's biggest fear to coming to Christ is having to change and not knowing how to or possibly, not wanting to, but the Holy Spirit will do the job for you! ☺

I dont really understand this video. First you do all the stuff party have premarital relationship. Then at 30 you start to kind of lecture people to abstain etc. I am 30 in a happy healthy relationship. Of course it is much easier to say kids dont go clubbing because you are just tired and lived through it. Like i dont like this message
