Try to go out more. If you can find online groups with people from your country or other Africans that should help you. You can try meet up (an app) or dating apps if you’re single. The western world is already cold and boring enough to be lonely again

It depends tbh. It just my opinion that it’s easier to hustle and settle as a single person than if I have kids. I have to think of day care or school, housing (single person can just take a room in a house or basement but family can’t), etc. Living as a single person also has its cons Cos you don’t get any support or assistance from no one. Car insurance or rent will be just on one income when it would have been easier if you were married. I hope that makes sense

Pls pardon my long question, it is concerning and I need to take action fast. . . I wrote my IELTS lastweek and I felt a little bit uncomfortable with my listening. If the result is not as good as expected, I am thinking of allowing my wife (with my baby) to apply alone and she could later apply for spouse invite because i don't want her to waste the chances she is having at the moment (with her IELTS Result) which is just 1 year to expiry). As at now, our CRS is 456, but if she removes me as a dependent, her CRS is will be 476 (which is higher than the last draw 470). I do not know if this is a wise decision and if processing spouse invite is easily achievable if she goes alone, how she will cope alone with a baby. (though i plan to use what ever IELTS score i get to process PNP simultaneously with her). Kindly advise me better on what you think I should do. Thanks

Spousal sponsorship is usually challenging especially for Outland (those outside Canada). If you won’t mind waiting a couple of years to join her then that should work. Asides that if she adds you as an unaccomanying spouse I don’t think your CRS should be affected

Let me help out here, if she removes you, her crs will increase. I'm guessing your wife is below 30, has 3yrs work experience. If you rewrite ielts, what is your crs likely to be? Also, did you do ECA for yourself?

@@oseofmat 1. If I rewrite IELTS, @8777, our CRS would be 476 2. Yes she's below 30 3. Yes, I did ECA for myself 4. We just realized our CRS is 470 with my present score, not 467 as earlier stated

@@REGENrelationship if she us below 30, let her be the Principal applicant as long as she has everything needed to get above 470 points. Or you act fast and rewrite ielts aiming for at least 8777. As long as you will not lose 5 points due to age.

Well, I've once watched a KZbinr from Canada. She said "If you get to Canada as a religious African, your prayer points will change, the way you pray will change, the way you go to church back home will change, and if you're not careful, your relationship with God will change" So I think they aren't so religious as Africans. Na Africans dey get time for Crusade and Vigils. I'm not sure they do all that there.
