Hi. In your experience, what is the cutoff for the percentiles at Austin. For people who don't make it past a good cutoff, what options do they generally have when it comes to firm options. Do they have a good shot at mid size firms?

Big law jobs as a 1L are pretty competitive for sure, but they become more accessible once you're a 2L and 3L. For the 1Ls, the big law cut-off is about 3.63 (top 25% of the class). But, I think most people who want to go to a firm for 2L summer get somewhere whether that's big law or a small to mid-sized firm.
