Cross-contamination labels on food are mainly for legal purposes, and I wish more people knew that. I have an almond allergy and I never care if something says it may contain traces of tree nuts because if I did I would hardly be able to eat anything not homemade (not that I have a ton of options being vegan lol).

Oreos are vegan in terms of eating it but I've read that the way they source their oil (I think its palm oil) has a negative affect on elephant habitats, in turn shortening their lifespan.
