Love your explanation about your sis and the credit you gave her father. Also, it makes me emotional thinking about where you would or could he and what you could have gotten into without the help and presence of your aunt and uncle. You still have plenty of time to figure out what you want to do in life. I’m a mom of 2 boys. When they were your age they were unsure of what career path they wanted to take. Which is completely normal. They eventually figured it out and you will too. Enjoy your last couple of years of high school and your youth. What’s meant to be will be. 💜

The "what are your plans? What do you wanna do after HS?" questions really upset me too when I was at that age, I think it bothers a lot of us. In HS I was a "smart" kid in honors and AP classes, so everyone gawked at me when I told them I had no idea what I wanted to do after HS. I eventually got tired of this, obviously, so I learned to just shrug and say I was gonna go to college, because that was expected of me, but then I'd just get gawked at when I said I didn't know where I wanted to go or what I wanted to major in. Almost 10 years after graduation, 6ish years at 3 different colleges (community college is GREAT if you don't know what you wanna do for college yet), a handful of jobs, and girl, I still don't know what I really wanna do, I just finally learned to stop panicking/beating myself up over it. Not everyone figures out what they wanna do early, some figure it out later in life, and not everyone figures it out ever, it's all valid and ok. So many adults look like they got it figured out and honestly we all just get better at pretending we got it figured out, lmao. Just try and be the best human you can be, try to find things that make you happy, remember that the bad/hard stuff isn't forever, and live life, man.

I want you to change your perspective about it instead of thinking about the things you’ve tried out, focus on the beautiful attributes that make up your character and personality. Don't worry about not knowing your plans! i just want to tell you that i am a senior this year and up until a month ago i had no idea what i was going to do for my future. it is no big deal to stress right now everything will work out for the best i promise. i’m now admitted to jacksonville state university and plan on studying marketing but as far as a career i have no idea what i will decide on. many people change their minds a million times before high school is over. life’s too short to stress girl. hang in there and savor every minute of high school you will never get those years back. that’s the one thing i wish i could go back and change abt my high school years. much love girl. ❤️
