I have scanned these lines from elkingtons clinical optic. As I couldn’t post the picture of the page as no option Available. Glass photochromic lenses comprise ………………………..Heat opposes the effect of light. Thus, glass darkens more easily when cold and lightens more easily when warm. A glass lens becomes gradually darker over time if is used repeatedly.

One about blu cut lenses advantage disadvantage usages?

They block 90% of the blue light but the disadvantage of it is that its addictive meaning that the patient has to always have it on even if it's a Plano lens,the patient once he removes it,he will feel strong effects of the lights which wasn't the case before starting to use it.
