I agree with this. I think the difficulty in getting behind it as a theory just IS that there's not much in the way of science you can do to prove it.

just a quick reminder that the first amendment conflicts with the first commandment "thou shalt worship whoever you want" and that the declaration of human rights gives ME more rights than god. and a history lesson cos the USA is a secular nation, not many people seem to know that, and the founding fathers were at best deists and certainly not christian. hitchens became a naturalised american purely because of the constitution. the UK is officially christian, the US is officially secular. is it annoying that the satanic temple has the SAME RIGHTS as the church

You are pretending that you are talking about physics? Why bother? There is NO WAY to reconcile all the self contradictions in the Bible let alone attempt to make it somehow logical and rational. Try and use it to cultivate decent people maybe? And get churches to monitor Yair staff better? Maybe some qualifications regarding child care? The youth pastor and preacher sex crimes thing is out of hand and all it requires is some staff protocols to prevent.

1. God is the author of laws of physics which are fine tuned for life, and physics is descriptive of what God is normally doing in the universe. You are aware that many of the physicists of the past such as Newton, Faraday and Maxwell saw God behind physics. Plenty of Physicists today are believers in God and Christians. Have you read *any* of the many books by Christians over the last 2000 years by Christians explaining alleged contradictions, such as Augustine, Calvin, or Geisler? 2) do you accept that the Titanic sank when there are *alleged* contradictions between eyewitnesses? 3) do you know what a contradiction is? A contraction is saying that A is not A at the same time and in the same sense. A contradiction is not that you read something you don't like or you don't want to do.

4) churches nowadays normally do have procedures in place to prevent child abuse, just like public schools do. Horribly, and sadly, evil people do evil things in both organizations. No excuse for those who don't do everything possible to protect children. But there is no evidence that *every* public school teacher abuse children or that every pastor abused children. If you have evidence of child abuse, you should contact authorities. Do you have any evidence? I will note that just because *some* churches either failed to prevent child abuse or failed by trying to cover it up, doesn't mean that *all* do. Some schools have abused students and some businesses have stolen money, and some businessmen have been corrupt. But it isn't logical to conclude without evidence that *all* are. Some children have been abused in the world of sports and it's horrible and evil. But have you rejected all sports? Some children have been abused by those involved in animation or children's media. Have you rejected all animation because of it? If you found that that some video game developers abused children, would you reject all video games?

Using Strawman is not logical. As for God adopting us as His children, praise the Lord for that. Are you jealous that God had mercy on us and forgave all our sins because of the Lord Jesus obeying the law and dying on the cross for us? Are you jealous that He rose physically from the dead and is alive today, loving us and guiding us by His Word? Are you jealous that He will return to this earth visibly and physically to pronounce judgment on the idolators, liars, and murderers? 2) the Lord is the Creator of the laws of physics, and they are fine tuned for life. Physicists like Newton, Faraday, and Maxwell affirmed their belief in the Creator God and didn't see it as 'magic.' there are plenty of Physicists today that believe in God or are Christians. There is nothing in physics that rules out the existence of the Creator. 3) I would note that the motors in your cells making the ATP energy molecule give you away as designed by God. You couldn't have read this or typed without ATP. And yet how many steps are needed just to build just one ATP Synthase motor in your cells, steps which *themselves* require ATP? Motors are motors, being tiny or not being made out of metal doesn't change what they are. Motors are only designed by intelligent agents. And the only intelligent agent that could have designed the motors in your cells that make ATP, is the same Creator God.
