I know it's exciting when you're in a new relationship. But just a suggestion - it's ok to take it easy with sharing your experiences. Theres no rush, you've been dating less than 2 months... It can be valuable to make educational content that helps break down taboo subjects, but when another person is involved and it's such early days, it's ok to hang on tight for now and wait until you've been together maybe 6 months? The 'honeymoon period' does exist so it might be sensible to get through that first before making more considered relationship videos when you have had chance to gather your thoughts and reflect on the new experiences you have gained.

I definitely appreciate your advice and totally see where you’re coming from! Although, I haven’t really shared anything more than I have said already about my relationship online in this video, and Angelo and I have talked about it so we’re both on the same page! What you see online / what I talk about is also only a tiny fraction of our relationship, as it is a priority to me that most of it is just between ourselves 💚✨

Can I just say that 'going into a relationship with no baggage' is a complete myth. Me and my boyfriend have been together nearly 4 years now and wow...lemme just say baggage unfolds in its own way and it's painful and also so beautiful and therapeutic to be able to talk to your loved one about difficulties you're going through and there's nothing to be ashamed of. If you go through life waiting to date until you have figured everything out, well, there's a whole wide world out there and it's very naive to go into it thinking you and your partner will be on the same page about everything. SOmetimes that happens in rare relationships, but most of the time it just doesn't. What I would say is be open, be loving, be compassionate, listen, love, nuture, and appreciate. Be open to meeting anyone in your life because you could find someone who is your 'forever' person but miss them because you're so focused on making yourself perfect. Sometimes the other person completes you, and that's OK.
@madlenox

Exactly. Also baggage is not only dating history, it is all of the experiences. And also I think being single for a long time does have an effect on you as well and may translate into baggage

you never should need anyone else to 'complete you' as you are already whole as you are, society teaches women they are not complete until they have a man
@graceharrington4560
@graceharrington4560 Жыл бұрын
@@maneskinnnnn7190 100% agree you don’t ‘need’ someone else to complete you but sometimes you find someone and they do, and if they do then that’s fine… everyone is different. I’ve just happened to find someone who I get along with and love navigating life with with it’s various ups and downs. We have our own friendship groups, and we spend time alone and together. For me it’s important to have my partner who is the one I can always turn to who is my best friend and also happens to be my romantic partner.

I'm so glad you're entering a new era of relationships! I do wish you kept it to yourself for much longer though, especially as you got together quite quickly. While it's still brand new and your first one, it's easy to think this will be forever and want to share all the good things but in reality, people and situations change so one day you may regret being so public about your first relationship 😢 honestly it's just a little embarrassing to have to delete all the photos etc and have everyone notice
@GK-rt2oz

Also, if you're using condoms you don't have to worry nearly as much about being pregnant than if you didn't and he's properly cum inside you 😂 but we can all relate haha!

@@Sun-du6po I agree! A photo only shows 5 seconds of their day but almost all her content has been relationship related or included him since she announced it. I absolutely love the topic of this video and the way you can openly talk about sex, sexual education, first relationship. I think it's really important, and can benefit to many people to stop being ashamed of talking and basically wanting to have sex, explore their own bodies and sexual interests. Because this is completely normal and more than that it's amazing. I wish I could have watched this type of video year ago when I was ashamed of my own sexual desires, and even hated myself just for the thought that I want to have sex. Thank you for enlightening these themes again! Wish you best with your relationship!

Just to clarify / educate, the gynefix does not *perforate* your uterus (that would be v bad) it just partially embeds in the uterine wall to stay in place. Perforation is a very rare and painful complication of coil insertion where the wall is torn and requires surgical repair
@bee-72
@bee-72 Жыл бұрын
@@maddy240691 Yes that’s exactly what I said, it is a rare complication of coil insertion. Holly said that it ‘perforates’ the uterus as though that’s the normal mechanism by which its inserted

I completely agree, I'm not a fan of the term 'losing virginity' either. Over the last 2 years I've been watching more sex Ed vids on KZbin (would recommend Hannah Witton if you're interested), and they talk a lot about the different kinds of sex. From penetrative sex to non - penetrated sex, from partnered sex to solo sex - so not seeing penis in vagina as the only definition of sex essentially. It's crazy that the term virginity is even still around, it's such a heteronormative term and doesn't cover all the different kinds of sex one can experience 🙈

I think it's interesting when you say even if you had sex ed in school the classes weren't that engaging; I went to school in an Eastern European country, and never got to have sex ed classes in school (even now they're considered taboo but that's another discussion) so I somehow thought if people had access to them then the 'problem' is sorted, but that just one layer isn't it? This whole sex wellness, sexuality etc topic is so broad and everyone is so unique, it's difficult to point a finger at the right approach. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, I'm sure it will at least make some people less confused/ shamed.

Honestly, this seems just another facet of Holly's obsessive disorder: she went from being asexual and not interested in sex at all to being sponsored by an adult film/erotica. Does not make sense at all. I wonder what is her real personality, or even if she has one. As a late bloomer myself, I find this very weird to go from 8 to 80 in such a short amount of time.

You’ve matured so much the last couple of years! And great open discussion! Maybe do a video on different types of contraception - I swear by my progesterone only pill (I can’t go on the combined pill because of a history of epilepsy and migraines, oestrogen doesn’t agree with my brain). Also my pill stops my periods; no heavy periods, headaches, craving ALL the chocolate ice cream, PMS so bad I cried when my ex boyfriend didn’t want a bacon sandwich when I was making myself one….
