I would add, for anyone looking at Pop reports… the reason some cards have more graded is because they are the ones collectors love the most… not just for monetary value. Therefore because they are loved the most, the value will reflect this going forward. Meaning even though there are lots of Elsa’s graded, its value shouldn’t lower because of this… people love the card and that doesn’t change because a pop report shows1800. Just look at Pokemon, Charizard fetches a premium with every set release regardless of how many have been graded in the past. Collectors still want the his cards and still grade them. Collect what you love and love what you collect. Great video.

I am loving the multiple videos a week! My thought is that any PSA graded cards are very small in quantity compared to nearly any major sport or Pokemon. I think Lorcana will continue to catch on which will lead to more people wanting to collect the high end cards.

I have 3 Belle Accomplished Mystic in my deck. I like the ability to move damage counters. She pairs well with Beast Wolfsbane, due to rush ability. I have never seen a playmat in the wild.

Hey, thank you! Yes....certainly a tough time for getting those boxes cheap. There is always hope for a reprint which will help price significantly! But you can also look up local LGS shops and they might still have loose packs! Loose packs and/or blisters from a reputable seller can be a good way to go as well!

Besides grading, whats your personal experience/opinion on the magnetic casings you had on the previous video? Thank you so much for the kind words and awesome question! My personal experience has been really good. However, I totally understand the hesitancy if you have heard some mixed reviews in your circle. The reason for my loyalty to the one-touch cases really comes down to preservation. I tend to keep a lot of higher-end cards raw for long periods of time before grading etc. I always want to make sure that I'm preventing dust etc from setting in. Of course, there are many great methods to prevent this (double-sleeving, etc), but I also like seeing them in a raw version of a slab before getting them to their final graded form. I hope this helps and wish you the best with building out your collection!

They certainly could be! It was interesting to hear that theyve called out potential reprints for the D100 product in the ROTF Gift Set slot. It could be that they want to do something similar with the IQ. However, I'm optimistic about that product very long term as a good one to hold onto.

Assuming they are now out of your retail stores in place of the most recent sets, the two places I would look into are your local game store (if there is one nearby) or ebay. With ebay...if you want one that is new, just be on the lookout to make sure they are 'sealed'. A lot of times you will find that the seller has opened them up, to grab the booster pack that comes with it, and are just selling the decks as a stand-alone item.

Really good question! As of now, I typically get two sealed cases of troves and I would imagine I'll keep that consistent moving forward. In my brain...I always like knowing (once theyre out of print) that I could potentially open one of them up and not have regrets!

Weighing packs is certainly part of the hobby (whether we like it or not). It's not my 'cup of tea' but, to your point, I do try to make sure I position myself to avoid others who are selling products like that. Sealed boxes (from reputable sources) as well as cases can help as well as going after which singles make you happy!

Yes, great Q! I always like to check both TCG player and ebay (lowest listing). TCGP gives you great data when it comes to 'recent sales' under the 'view more data' tab and ebay also shows you the competitive analysis if you filter by 'completed items' and 'sold items'!

A bit pricey, as they were shipped from overseas but the time the hobby was so new that they were the only ones I could find with the exact Trove dimensions. I would surf around to see if anyone has brought them to the states but, if not, at least there is an option for you!

Hey dude! Omg....it feels like infinity LOL 😵‍💫 we tend to draw our line at making sure that we own every card in the set. From there, we will start prioritizing the duplicates of 'Rare or better' as well as the cold foils. Every enchanted goes in a One-Touch for the most part. There are some great cases out there that I've considered (Palms Off for example makes a nice one) but nothing that I've grabbed just yet. I'm sure we will do a video of the collecting/sorting madness soon enough!

One of the BIG questions in the hobby right now so great question! Surprisingly, as a collector who has a large investment in that set, I would actually say yes. As long as the hobby is growing and there is an appetite for more newcomers to want to join in then I would say, go for it!

Without going broke, what do you think is the best way to collect All of the Enchanted cards? Also, if I was to win the mat, it would have to be the Encanto since my granddaughter loves that movie more.

Yes! That Encanto mat is so pretty! For the enchanteds.... there are multiple ways of doing it and wouldnt want to insinuate that this is the absolute best way. But I have always found that going for the highest valued cards first is the path that typically will lead to the finish line the most. The main reason for this is that typically, as time passes, these assets are harder to find and will go up in price. From a % standpoint, if the hobby experiences growth and the market goes up by (example) a 10% average....a $50 card will go up by $5 but a $1,000 card goes up by $100. As time passes, you start to get more and more 'priced out' of those higher value cards. This is why I've always tackled them first (when they are attainable) and focus on the lower value cards later (when they are still most likely attainable). I hope that this helps in some way and thank you so much for your amazing support!

I'm looking to have one of each of all sets (excluding foils) however first chapter booster boxes are mad expensive. I have only managed to get 2 so far and almost double of retail price so I end up npt being able to spend so much on newer sets. I am not a fan of purchasing singles but have done in the past. I would love to open more first chapter for a chance at an enchanted also but feel like any product I open must be the product of thr enchanted already having been pulled befpre from the same case for instance. I'm scared of first chapter not getting reprinted and really want to ensure one of each and get myself a chance at an enchanted. Do you think it is worth keep spending on ebay etc at much higher prices for a chance of pulling an enchanted or would you say it could well be reprinted and in this case the best thing is to wait to not spend such high prices and ensure I can spend more in the current sets? Great Q! The fair answer would be...it's more worth it than any other set that has been released. From there, you can bring your feeling of 'belief in the hobby' into it. But unless we see a short printed set (for reasons that are hard to predict) the FC will continue to be the standard! PS: there is also a value difference between a loose pack and blister pack. Blister would be more valuable, since it is much more difficult to tamper. This will help with your end goal of resale value! Hope this helps and thanks so much for reaching out!

What are your thoughts on a format where you can only have one card of each instead of 4 of one card? One of the the things I dislike the most about TCG is none of the meta decks have personality cause they run variation of the same 5/10 cards.

That's a great callout. It certainly can bog down a game and/or meta when you have (as you said) a handful of cards that are so key in that game. Hopefully, as the meta expands, we can get to a place where there are many different combinations of decks and even formats that can play to the advantage of something like what you are talking about. The good news is, the game is so young. We have time to not only watch our meta play out...but also learn from other TCGs both positive and negative!

TCG Player and Ebay are definitely your best bets! For TCGP, start with Verified Sellers and filter from there. For Ebay, it's a bit more complex because that platform is used more for vetting out condition of cards (where with TCGP a card can be played regardless of condition). If you are looking for mint copies of cards I would suggest Ebay and really make sure to scrutinize both the pictures that the sellers provide as well as the feedback from the sellers themselves.

Ohhhh great one! Like most people...I took a break for awhile lol. Recently it was around 2020 and finding the love again for the hobbies that I used to love and watch on tv (Pokemon, Yugioh, etc). But when I was young, my grandparents would take my cousin and I to local stores to buy packs. Pulling enchanted Elsa with my wife! On a random Saturday....watching the movie, Elemental...she went and grabbed 2 packs (each) for us, and it happened! Special day for sure! ✨💛

Wow....amazing question (and appreciate you asking)! Like most hobbies....it started with the discovery and the nostalgia. When I first heard about it, I was skeptical. I didnt know if they would be using screenshots from the franchises etc. But when I heard about their strategy...brining in the artists, the marketing team, RB, etc. it got me so excited! Finally, once I saw that they would be adding chase cards to the first ever set (which is unlike most of the classic TCGs from years past) it showed me that they had the collector in mind early on. I was all in! Lol 💛

What product are you the most bullish on?

Oh good question! As of now, it's hard to not say 'The First Chapter' and the 'D23' products. However, with it (hopefully) being so early in Lorcana's lifespan, from a long term perspective, I'm optimistic on every product that has come out to this point!
