One thing about us Lithuanians is that we don''t express our emotions in a publicly obvious way, if that makes sense. We are more reserved in that way. I live and work in London and have two supervisors that are Nigerian (one lady, one guy). Let me tell you, you guys are LOUD! Which was intimidating at first, but once I got used to it it's kind of fun to fool around. Also, I'm quite sure that my countryman have no clue that half of Nigerians are Christian (my supervisor's nickname is "Pastor" :) ). This may be a good common ground that eases the daily interactions.

Also looking at relocating. I have someone who could help get a job as well as work permit and one year resident permit for either Poland or Lithuania. Which of these countries would you suggest? I've been so caught up in the middle making a decision. And also can one do two jobs just like in the case of most western countries?
@AmarachiNzekwe4 жыл бұрын
Hello, I don't know anything about Poland so I can't really help you in making that decision. About working two jobs, I don't know how possible that is as a work permit is tied to a job. Maybe you can ask whoever is helping you

Hey! I just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate the content you put out. I'm lithuanian and I've lived abroad since I turned 18. These days, I try to understand foreigners' perspectives on life in Lithuania, especially the experiences of black people, to get a clearer picture of what that experience entails. I'm very happy that people are giving it a try creating their lives back home, and I'm so so so happy to see more and more people of colour everytime I come back for a visit. I know it's an overwhelmingly white country, and the way racial issues are treated is,I would say, shallow, if not outright conservative, but I hope that people like you will, perhaps, broaden people's perspectives. I think you're lovely, I think you're brave, and thank you for being so very accepting. I truly hope that your experience there will add up to a pleasant memory. Much love, best of luck and a lot of appreciation from Denmark ♥️
