I've got the UK Poco X3 & Redmi 8 Pro bought Sept 2020. I went for the 8Pro rather than 9Pro as it had WiFi issues. Both my phones I done bty test & both gave me just over 12hrs non stop & 18% left. The Poco done first 6hrs at 69% left then next 6hrs whoooosh to 18%left. Poco X3 charged from 18% to 98% in 1hr 30mins. Poco speakers excellent stereo & 3Dish. It needs a Vol Booster & recommend the Goodev app.

Ordered the 9 Pro last 9/9, and then they released POCO X3 while the 9 Pro was still in the HK Customs. My! Really did consider cancelling my order and just exchanging it to X3. I even mentioned to my colleagues that I'm selling my Brand New, Fresh From The Box 9 Pro (just unboxed it today), just so I could upgrade real quick to X3. The only upgrade about Poco X3 is stereo speaker & fast charging 33 watt. I’m buying 2018 Redmi Note 8 Pro though, Helio G90T is still on par with Snapdragon 732G for 40-50 percent cheaper...at least performance wise, I can live with 18watt & shorter battery life..

@@HorseWeener Hey Harlan! well, I hope he did recover. Anyway, re: S8 to Poco X3, my wife has the S9+ and when I let her use the Poco X3 for a full day, she did say it was smoother than her phone. From what I understand, the S8 is definitely weaker in terms of processing power vs the S9+ so I would say you'd definitely see an upgraded performance overall. The only area you'd probably be disappointed in is the display since the S8 has AMOLED vs LCD on the Poco X3. But everything else, I'd say you'd be happy with the Poco X3.

I have a realme 6 pro and my main reason to why im switching to poco x3 is the battery. The 4300mAh on the rm6 pro compared to the 5160mAh on the poco x3 I think is a big difference. I charge 2-3 times a day on my rm6 pro because im a heavy gamer. Yeah it charges fast for just 1 hour but I rather use a phone that lasts long and charging it once a day or after two days than a phone that needs to be charged after every 4 hours of straight gaming. Right now im debating on myself whether to sell my rm6 pro for the poco x3 or not because of this video on what you said but I think I need to switch it out for the upgrade of the battery capacity.

Xiaomi phones are excellent. I've not had a phone for 10yrs & they are so impressive now. From none to 2, redmi note 8 pro & the Poco X3 which has stereo speakers which gives a great stereophonic sound. Only the volume is not loud enough & I use the free Goodev Volume Booster app which works beautifully.

Though seems like no one is talking about one area the POCO X3 cheaped on to get that low price for its specs, and that is Quality Control, I was about to buy one but was stopped by the above average number of user reviews mentioning that they received a defective item. I get it that no manufacturer is perfect and there are bound to be defective ones, but POCO X3's rates are higher compared to phones from other brands, or even compared to the Redmi series

I haven't checked out Poco X3 feedback in a while. Is there a common defect happening on X3 phones? That is truly interesting to check out.

@@TopDownTech the most common I found are from the user reviews are battery issues and performance issues (maybe due to throttling on some units) Also some reports about the top speaker not working and defective screens
