I am now living in USA with my husband on F2 visa. I want to start USMLE prep now. Is it a wise decision? If I get good scores in USMLE, Will my application be considered ? How severely would my YOG > 5years affect my CV and Application?

When is the best time to apply? Can I do so before taking my FMGE exam or after? I have a two-month break during my 5th year when I can go to India for internships. Can I apply for electives during this period, or should I wait until my 6th year when I return to India for my FMGE exam? Best of luck to you as well! You're doing an amazing job! 🤝
