My brother who is Mexican dated a Punjabi girl and they loved each other so much but her family never accepted him because of him not being seikh:( they wanted him to convert and he was not ready for that so they had to brake up. The family never accepted our family. How do you guys explain that? Any advice ?

Hi Genesis, that’s really hard and I’m sorry your brother and his girlfriend had to go through that. Our families were on board with us and very supportive since the beginning and respected both our cultures and religions which I think is most important. For both families to have mutual respect.
