I didn't realize there were such hard fast rules in some households concerning this stuff. We don't' really have pooping rules or farting rules. I'll of course try to close the door if it smells bad to keep it out of the rest of the house, but it's definitely not something we avoid or lock the door for. Wife says she sometimes closes the door to poop because the body works better when it doesn't feel exposed and feels safe (similar to giving birth). We'll avoid the other while pooping for the smell more than anything else, but if we really need to be in the bathroom to do something then we will be. We've been through 3 all natural births, been changing diapers and dealing with poop for 5 years now, live in the country, have livestock, & wife is a vet tech. There are MUCH worse smelling things. Wait until your child gets stomach flu, vomit all over everything is on a different level. Or for me the smell of thousands of Japanese beetles rotting in a trap you need to empty during a summer day. Worst smell my wife says she's encountered is a dead rotting calf coming out of the back end of a cow. TMI? You asked for it lol. edit

As someone with divorced parents whose dad was unfaithful to my mom along with struggling with alcoholism, I was so relieved when they finally divorced when I was 11. Two peaceful homes is better than one chaotic and toxic one. I am so against the “staying together for the kids” belief.

I’m currently pregnant with my second baby. I have hyperemesis when pregnant which is basically super severe morning sickness. My husband has sat on the bathroom floor with me while I vomited, literally given me anti nausea suppositories when I was vomiting uncontrollably and couldn’t swallow medicine, he has sat with me through some of the most disgusting, horrible times. Literally cleaned my vomit when I was too sick to take care of myself. Then he had a front row seat for our first daughter’s birth. Farting is probably the least gross thing either of us have experienced through our lives together. So we don’t really have rules because we’ve been through worse together. It’s the least of our worries😂

Girl! I have the dreaded HG too. My husband has seen the most unholy things spewing forth from my body. I never thought I'd ever feel comfortable letting one rip in front of my spouse and then this happened. A few years ago my husband admitted to me that he had been unfaithful and also had a porn addiction. I was very upset and wanted to go to counseling. However, he refused to see a Christian counselor and that was something that was very important to me. He was pretty adamant that it was over and we ended up divorcing. He moved on very fast and was remarried within 2 years to a (former) close friend of mine). It has been 4 years now, and our 2 girls live with me fulltime.

Really appreciate the honesty about cheating. Matthew 19:9 Jesus condemns divorce excepted for in cases of immorality, which I believe includes (if not directly pointed to) adultery. As a person who has been cheated on, I think it’s important to look at all that it takes to engage in cheating, it’s a lot. The selfishness, immaturity and dishonesty required to follow through with such an act is difficult to comprehend. Today, I know I would leave the relationship because of what that choice says about the person, but I would still work to forgive them over time. Also important to remember that just because you forgive someone doesn’t mean you trust them.

Only farting rule in my house (which isn’t always kept or enforced 🙈) is no farting at the dinner table. Anything more than that would be a pipe dream 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ And some of the most beautiful marriages and redemption stories I’ve known are couples who had someone cheat…but it always started with true repentance. And acknowledging sin & responsibility on BOTH sides. I can’t say what I would do in their shoes but if there was no repentance on his part or willingness on my part to honestly admit my own failings that led to the cheating, it wouldn’t look good. Even with forgiveness, intimacy and trust on both sides would be stunted for a very long time. 💔

I don't see too many women commenting on this stuff. But just to set the record straight here! Been married for 38 years. Love my husband. I not him always had the highest sex drive. He would always participate but never instigate. According to Christian circles, there was something wrong with me! I am since over all that, but I think we too often stereotype men and women. Let couples be couples. Let them grow in Jesus and let's not decide that it has to be a certain way. I broke all the molds and have no regrets!

No, to poop in front of someone is not "crossing the line" or "sick". It's the most normal thing and anybody can decide for themselves. Others, in example the hippies I know that eat, play boardgames and dance naked in front of their friends and strangers, would think you are being uptight and laugh about YOU. So you do you and let other do what they like as long as it's not sin. It's not my cup of tea either, but it's nothing to laugh about or pretend that it's weird just because YOU don't do it. Just my opinion. Except that, great video as always! 🎉

My church background doesn't believe that the Bible (Matthew 19:9 or other parallel passages in the other gospels) allows for divorce even in the case of sexual immorality. I can't remember the full argument, but basically, there are some verses that are difficult to translate from the original Hebrew/Greek, so sometimes the English rendering can be misleading without further study. Also, other Biblical passages that discuss divorce condemn it and don't mention an exception. I do think some type of separation is necessary in cases such as abuse.

It's so hard to know what you would do in any hard situation without being in that situation. I agree divorce shouldn't be considered but there are reasons that any marriage may come to that. I live with boys/men we got farts and pooping constantly 🤣.

I think you both answered the divorce question based on if the other partner had cheated. It would be interesting to see if you held the same opinions if you were the partner that was unfaithful. I know that's harder to imagine, but I wonder if that might have changed your answers.

Farts are funny, especially when dogs fart. They act all surprised and bark. They probably get embarrassed and try to trick everyone into thinking that an intruder entered the house, farted, and then ran away. Only the most intelligent dog breeds can do that. No farting rules in our house lol our two year son even farts and then looks all surprised 😲 and say “barking spiders!” Lol 😂 We generally give each other space when pooping but we don’t lock up either. I came out of a divorce where both my ex husband and I stepped out on the marriage, now with my current husband I don’t think divorce would be considered on my end with cheating…. I’m just more willing to work it out and I know how things can get out of hand and how hard it is to come forward 🤷‍♀️ but because I’ve cheated before I was honest and we have boundaries now in our marriage that protect against it. I also agree amount of sex can effect marriage for better or worse.

Farting : no rules I have ibs so it sometimes just happens ... 😅 divorce: deoend on the situation and there level of remorcefulness. Ie the situation but likely divorce as I am bad at stuing in things! Sex: been on antidepressants both of us for anxiety ect so sex drive pretty low but we are relatively on par which is good ! We can be pretty happy with once every two weeks 😂

When it’s just my husband and I we will fart in front of each other we don’t have farting rules. We usually blame the fart on the dog and just laugh about it lol my husband will come in the bathroom when I’m pooping sometimes it doesn’t bother me and it’s usually just for him to tell me something real quick or if it’s in the morning and he just needs to brush his hair. I don’t come in the bathroom when he’s pooping though it grosses me out and with being pregnant and sensitive to smell I definitely don’t go in their lol but if he’s just peeing and I need to go into the bathroom for whatever reason he doesn’t get bothered by it. We always knock though and ask to come in just so we do still have that privacy line we don’t cross but 99% of the time we let eachother in when one of us is using the bathroom

I can't judge anyone that does have a divorce because I have had the best marriage I could have ever asked for. But we do have some friends that he cheated on her several times was always drunk and she threw him out for many years until his boss DAD gave him an ultimatum he either gets help or gets fired so he went and got help and they are now doing missions together for addictions and are very in love.

Well me being single farting rules I say it’s OK but you have to own your farts. When I do get married for sure the bathroom is getting locked. It’s just about having respect for my wife. The only thing I would except if she’s 9 months pregnant and we’re waiting for that time to go to the hospital. If not pregnant keep the door close. I agree with Paul and Morgan about satisfying your partner equally. You can’t be selfish with sex but be honest and open with your partner. Because God created for it to be beautiful and emotional. No way I would ever poo in front of my guy. Never have and never will. Sometimes I’ll pee with the door open, but he’s not looking or anything. Except when they gave me a shot to stop hemorrhaging after delivery and I literally had no control. I wasn’t warned until after that you will basically poop yourself. 😭😭😭 Felt so embarrassed. I kept apologizing to the nurse. 🤣😭
