It works well because this is a very simple model. unfortunately most of the real models are far more complicated then this, and the walls in revit seems to overlap a most of the times. So in general revit models don't work very well for using as a base to a CFD simulation. It is possible but it is a very time consuming to do that even with a good program like spacecalim.

Thanks for the feedback Ofer. How clean the model is depends on the engineering putting it together. We've done full buildings with very clean Revit models so they certainly exist out there :)

The video tutorial is not clear it leaves a lot of doubts how it was create and imported. It leaves a lot of question how it was created. Very difficult to follow,
