Ansys Fluent 2023 Make contour and animation

Does steady state simulation are mandatory before transient simulation OR I could RUN the simulation directly via transient approaches on ANSYS FLUENT?

you can directly run the transient simulation. Steady state can provide some insight on the flow before you go into a way more computationally expense transient calculation.
