Awesome!!! Learned a lot... My problem has a heat source, for which I don't have value in W/m3, but the surface maintains constant temperature of 68 Degree celcius. I have to analyse how the heat transfer varies when the outer domain pressure varies. So I have to analyse at different pressure levels, But I am getting same heat transfer rate for different pressure levels, Where could have I gone wrong? Need your inputs brother

thanks so muchfor your this great video, could you please explain why you choose thermal boundary condition for many walls other than the connection wall, like the side_walls, why not adiabatic BC?
@AnsysTutor5 жыл бұрын
Adiabatic BC generally constraints the Boundaries to Zero Heat flux, but in the current problem we want to calculate the heat gained by the walls, for that reason the "via system coupling" BC has been chosen for most of the wall.

I have no data of the reaction, only the equation that describes it in cilindrical coordinates. In CFX, how could I input this? I've tryied to insert as an energy source term in subdomain. Despite the temperature distribution have given as I hope, the values does not. Thanks in advance for any help.

At 20:51 the connection wall shadow material should be air right since the connection wall is aluminum?

Its not a shadow, its a shadow wall, the extreme end wall near the fluid domain. The fluid material should not be assigned to any wall.

Use the "local" tempr variation contour to see the tempr variation in that face only. For the full domain check with the "global" option.

How the connection wall shadow was created? there was no connections in the Meshing step and also there is no "mesh interfaces" in the fluent.
@AnsysTutor3 жыл бұрын
If there would be both solid and fluid region present in the domain then the shadow walls would be generated automatically without the presence of any contact surface.

@@AnsysTutor it is not true, you can test it, for example if you have 2 D it wont created automatically
